DAY 23. KINDER BEHAVIOR WITH ALL BEINGS 🐾💚 Reconsidering what it means to eat animal products changes a lot in our own behaviour towards animals and in the end with all beings. Feeling the madness and cruelty how animals are treated and what sad life they live - only being a product in the end rather than a living being - makes us compassionate. This change is taking place because we connect, because we can feel what is done to others and do not ever want to take an active part in it. The strange thing is that most people make this connection with their pets, with cats and dogs, but when it comes to cows, pigs and chicken they are not seen as valuable as a dog or cat, it is okay to eat them. Why love some and don’t care for others? As vegans we do not want to harm anyone, weather animal nor human because we also would not want to be treated this way.

DAY 21. COWS 🐄 Cows are curious, clever and gentle beings. They form complex relationships and value their lives. Female Cows form strong bonds with their calves and want to protect and keep them save. Sadly the calves are separated from their mothers after a few days after their birth. BECAUSE HUMANS WANT TO DRINK HER MILK. The calve instead is fed milk replacers and will soon be branded, dehorned and castrated. Then cows raised for beef are fattened for slaughter. Female cows go to dairy farms and go through even more torture and abuse. They will be repeatedly artificially impregnated in order to keep their milk flowing and after birth be again traumatically separated from their newborns. This goes on and on until she is sent to slaughter as well. So many die already on their way to the slaughterhouse because they are sick, weak and travel through all weather, without food or water. If they are still alive when they arrive they die piece by piece while they hang upside down on one leg and get their throats cut, skinned and gutted. Chopped into pieces, sold at a supermarket and then land in a hot pan in someones kitchen. 👁 Beef and Dairy products are not healthy for humans to eat and cause unnecessary violence and torture for sentient beings. 🐄❤️
DAY 20. VEGANISM IS NOT JUST A TREND 👉🏼 Veganism is far away from being just a quick trend. It is more so a conscious shift and development of our behavior, mindset and tradition onto a next level. DAY 19. BECOME ENERGIZED 💦 As I already said, a Vegan diet is great for your health. You will get all the nutrients, such as protein, fiber, minerals and vitamins. The plant based sources of these nutrients tend to be lower in saturated fats and are packed with antioxidants. 🌱 Lots of people fear a loss of energy or muscle mass when abstaining from animal products. But quite the opposite is true. Meat and Dairy are especially hard to digest and take much of your energy which leaves you tired. Plant based proteins are easily digestible and packed with energizing elements that can make you feel more awake and energized. Also do some vegetables and seeds have a lot more protein than meat or eggs, which makes it even easier to build muscles or to reach your fitness goals. DAY 17. NEW FOOD CREATIONS 🥦🥕🍉 First thing: You don’t have to cut back on taste at all!! It is so much fun to try out delicious new recipes. And you will figure out that you can literally turn every dish into a vegan version of it and it will taste even better. The key is to find the right replacement or just use recipes without any animal products at all. DAY 16. HAPPIER YOU ⭐️
“Positive energy starts with the food you put into your body.” The process from raising animals to having the meat, dairy and eggs on our tables is a path of hurt, suffering and death. All this negative energy is consumed by us eating their products. Because all the suffering that comes from the painful death of animals is still in the products. A lot of people might believe this is bullshit. And yes, it is completely up to you to feel deeper into yourself and to believe or not believe if energies are real or unreal for you. But for myself I can say that eating plantbased food came hand in hand with changing from a negative mindset to a positive one. I became more compassionate, balanced, positive, energetic, more loving and in general just happier. It does not mean there are no ups and downs in life, there always are. But life feels balanced.
In yoga there is a tradition called living ahimsa. It means living a life of non-hurting/non-harming. And if we do live more healthfully and peacefully it makes us more in balance, more content with our life and contributing to a peaceful world just makes us all happier! 🙌🏼
DAY 15. FISH 🐟 “If we continue to eat fish, we are facing empty oceans 30 years from now“ @letusbeheroes 🐋 The fishing industry actually catches so much more than just the fish we eat.⠀
They use enormous fishing nets and also catch millions of dolphins and seahorses and other fish as bycatch. One example: for 0,5 kilos of shrimps 12 kilos of other sea animals were killed and thrown back into the sea 🌊. Fish are highly sensitive beings and like all other animals they are not here for us! DAY 14. THE PHARMA INDUSTRY
Due to the rising demand for meat and dairy products, there is also a higher demand for livestock pharmaceuticals. For making the most profit the animals need to be “healthy” and “grow well”, therefore a lot of medicine and vaccine are used. These antibiotics, hormones and other medicals are still in the meat, dairy and eggs and it can affect our bodies and our well-being. But this is not the end of it because also our water gets filled with all these pharmaceuticals and the soil too. It is a pretty vicious cycle: we live in this environment, drink the water, eat the produce and the animal products filled with pharmaceuticals. And then we pay that Industry even more when our health is at risk due to all this consumption of meat and dairy. 💉 pic and more info @wthfilm

DAY 13. STOP DEFORESTATION 🍃🍁🌳 Trees are essential to the eco-system!! But still "1-2 Acres of Rainforest are cleared EVERY SECOND" due to animal agriculture. Due to their intensive livestock production, the meat industry requires large quantities of harvested feed. The growing of crops for feed in turn requires huge areas of land. And this is why millions of trees are being cut down. Simply to provide more room for planting crops to feed to livestock and for cattle ranches. SO FAR ANIMAL AGRICULTURE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR UP TO 91% OF AMAZON DESTRUCTION. Meat and Dairy products require much more resources than plant based foods.
