I had lots of garden tomatoes and basil so I put the tomatoes and basil in the blender. I blended it into a thick sauce and then froze it in ziplock baggies. When I want a quick meal, I defrost the sauce and then heat in a skillet with seasonings like garlic, dried Italian oregano, salt, chili pepper, a little maple syrup, sometimes white wine or mushrooms or plant-based Italian sausage and then pour over pasta.
An empty "BEEF BUS"
That's what was written at the back of this animal carrier. I don't know what's easier to see ~ seeing an empty one knowing that animals just got dropped off and their lives ending while witnessing this or one filled with animals on their way to their deaths. The other day I teared up at the lights seeing a similar one carrying cows. Those poor souls. I didn't blink twice when I wasn't vegan. It's very different now. I hope to see the end of this before my lifetime. #goveganpeople this is not right!

GOOD MORNING 🌟 Hope you've all had a fabulous start to your day 🌻 Here's a little snap of an incredibly simple & energising feed - rice, oil-free potatoes & veggies 💫 As you guys can probably tell by now I'm constantly consuming rice & potatoes 😂 it's my go-to when I'm hangry 🙊 I'm currently sitting in my favourite coffee place at uni with my second large coffee and it's not even 12pm! but you gotta do whatever you can to get through the endless list of assignments am I right? 😈 What have we all got planned for today? 🌸

Decided to switch up my grains tonight and use FARRO & I am so glad I did. This mushroom garlic farro was out of this 🌏. I challenge you to try something new this week...you never know it could be even better than your usual meal😉

Overnight Vanilla Chia Oats 💛
Sports Carnical day for my kids today (as long as it doesn't rain too much 🙏). I love that last night my kids were thinking ahead about how best to fuel their bodies for their day of races and games.
We talked and decided a low sugar breakfast with good fats, proteins and some carbs for sustained energy was the go, so this is what we made together.
I love that creating a wholefood culture in the home has my kids now interested in their own health and understanding how what they eat affects how they feel and perform. I certainly don't push these discussions on them, but when they ask, we talk 🙌
I feel like no matter how they go today, they are winning already 💪💪💪 #plantpoweredkids#wholefoodfamily
tomatoes from the garden, crispy dough, Tesco vegan cheez and pesto with some turmeric rice ☺️not pretty but v tasty. The tomatoes are Black Russian variety and are so unbelievably rich when roasted with a little olive oil.
One of this week's Ninja League challenges is to see what height wall you can reach the top of. I couldn't find a taller one so this will have to do!
Then we subtract how high we can reach (236cm) from the height of the wall (279cm) to get our score. Mine is 43cm.
