💬 My daughter is off school sick today, so I made soup for lunch as she didn’t have a huge appetite. I puréed her version and kept Zayne and I’s chunky. He loved dipping his bread in the soup, and ate almost all of it. He left most his cucumbers, but finished his cheese (he loves cheese)

PSA: it is totally possible to remake vegan versions of non-vegan foods you ate and have them taste PHENOMENAL. Now I know this doesn’t look like much but it was freaking delicious!! It tasted just like the potato soup we used to make with lots of milk and cheese but this version is just as good yet much healthier, with no cruelty involved.

Parsnip soup with rosemary croutons
This is a lovely creamy winter soup that’s perfect for a meat-free Monday. I’m sitting eating this right now just loving the slight sweetness of the roasted parsnips and the hint of rosemary from the croutons.
Please note that this is a vegan recipe - the creamy taste is purely from the puréed parsnips.

I am the only vegan in a family of omnivores, but all of them are supportive of my plant-based lifestyle.
I often get the question: “how can you be vegan when your family isn’t?” I don't think it's about being a vegan or not. For me, it’s about being confident about my beliefs of compassion, kindness and conscious living. Cause at the end of the day, life is about being happy, and I feel blessed to have the support system of a special family.

Vegan homemade udon broth isn’t very hard to make! The key is to make your own dashi broth which is made by soaking kombu seaweed and dried shitaki mushrooms overnight! Then you combine that with a veggie broth, rice wine vinegar and soy sauce! So warming and delicious 😋
Vegan Porridge - KuaChaiMoi
Vegan KuaChaiMoi ini sangat direkomendasikan untuk disajikan ke keluarga.Tidak hanya enak aja tapi yang terpenting Sehat ya.. karena kandungan nutrisinya yang seimbang,ada jamur (berprotein), umbian,sayuran yang warna warni. Komposisi makanan yang warna warni itu kandungan antioksidannya tinggi lho.
Mohon maaf sama teman2 semuanya, kalau masak memasak itu by feeling tidak harus bahan ini seberapa banyak yang harus dimasukkan karena cita rasa di lidah kita itu berbeda2. Kalau membuat kue/roti harus sesuai resep dan kadangkala juga tidak berhasil walaupun sudah sesuai dengan takarannya.
Bahan : beras,ubi jalar orange, jamur shitake kering, kembang tahu, sawi pahit, jahe dipotong halus memanjang atau dicincang halus.
Bumbunya : garam laut, penyedap (optional), minyak wijen ditaburin sewaktu makan.
1. Masak beras sampai jadi bubur, baru masukkan ubi jalar (dipotong sesuai selera) sampai matang. Sisihkan.
2. Sawi pahit dipotong sesuai selera. Jamur shitake direndam, dipotong halus memanjang. Kembang tahu dipetik2,digoreng, direndam air panas (supaya tidak terlalu berminyak), diperas. Jahe dipotong kecil2.
3. Siapin kuali + minyak hingga panas, masukkan jahe hingga agak kekuningan + Jamur shitake hingga wangi + garam + potongan sawi pahit, ditumis sebentar, dipindahkan ke bubur + ubi yang sudah matang + kembang tahu perasan + garam. Dikoreksi, lalu disajikan di mangkok + sedikit minyak wijen.

If only you could smell this! Mmmm mmmm! We made @minimalistbaker 's Curried Potato & Lentil Soup and it is tasty, hearty, and healthy! We followed the recipe pretty closely with only omitting oil and sugar. Highly recommend 👍 #vegan
When you have veggies that need to be used up I throw together my curried soup. Carrots, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and corn. This was dinner last night but we had this for lunch again today. So good 🤗
