I've never been a huge fan of yogurt, could be the texture. But to give this a fair review, it's a GREAT yogurt replacement for vegans.
WTB: Sprout's refrigerated section
IS IT VEGAN? Read your labels! This Go Veggie cheese from Sprouts is in the vegan refrigerated section but is NOT vegan.
I am glad I read it further (even I* make vegan mistakes) before I packed it into my kiddo's sandwiches because it contains casein, a milk protein!! 😡 Lesson learned. ALWAYS READ LABELS. •Edit• Cheese contains milk, not meat, so if it contains milk, it is redundant that it would have a "Go Veggie" label. It's only purpose is that it's lactose free. What I meant about not being vegetarian, was that it can only BE considered vegetarian and NOT vegan.

Vegan Party food. For my sisters birthday I wanted to make a buffet so I could enjoy the party and not be running in and out of the kitchen. I made everything two or three ways- with and without gluten- with or without peppers (because one of my friends is allergic). Not using my go-to spices made me use a lot more fresh herbs. It was fun to have that as a challenge. I made three types of hummus, roasted garlic, green hummus (with herbs and spinach) & a spicy harrisa. (Thanks @joshleuner For the inspiration) Three quiches- I used jus rol pastry (because recipes with flour scare me) the first quiche was spinach, onion and sundried tomato with Follow Your Heart Vegan Egg. The gluten free version had a base of sweet potato instead of pastry - green beans, sundried tomatoes, onions and spinach. The mini quiches were made without peppers or chillies and had tomatoes and spinach. I used Just Mayo for the potato salad with baharat seasoning and for the sans pepper version- Za'atar herbs. I also tried my hand at my first attempt at Tzatziki & a tahini dressing for the quinoa dishes. Lots of different crisps and things to dip.
