I really loved this #vegan queso mac n cheese. Comfort food is not off limits when you're vegan 😍. That was one thing I was worried about when going vegan at first. This cheese was a @minimalistbaker recipe from their cookbook. .
Does anyone have a good cashew cheese recipe they want to share? I'll make it and tag you!
We all have a voice. Are you using yours?

New up on the blog - our latest interview with a very inspirational vegan 💗 this time we chatted with the awe inspiring Elly! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"About 2 years ago I went vegetarian in order to do something against climate change.. About 7 months ago, I came across the documentary “Hope For All”. I got all the information about dairy and eggs and it shocked me. I saw a calf being taken away from its mother, I saw a desperate mother cow crying for her baby. That made me cry, it broke my heart so bad. That was the moment I recognized that any kind of animal farming was animal exploitation. That day, I not only went vegan, I became an activist. A loud voice for the animals. I promised myself to never stop speaking out for them. I got into activism very quickly, I came across “the save movement” on Instagram by accident and decided to start my own save group here in Germany. Apart from that, I started to use my hobby (drawing) to raise awareness. The combination of art and activism is wonderful. I’m a self-taught illustrator, I’ve never studied art. I’ve been drawing and painting since I can remember. What could be better than using my passion to speak out for the animals?
My advice for anyone interested in going vegan is veganism is not a sacrifice, it’s a joy! It’s the best thing that happened to me. There’s no better feeling than knowing that you do what’s right, not what’s easy, not what everyone else does. Not contributing to animal cruelty will make you happier than you can imagine. Just do it. When I was a vegetarian, I thought that I could never be vegan but to be honest: back then, I had no clue what veganism is actually about. It’s not just a diet, it’s the choice to do the right regardless of what society tells you to do or to think. I believe that veganism makes us better humans, showing compassion to the defenceless makes us beautiful. Veganism is the only way to show compassion to the animals, to care for our planet, mother earth and to live healthy"

Look at these sizzling Colocasia beauties. Colocasia roots are eaten all over East and South Asia, so you can find them at Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and South Asian groceries. This simple pan fried colocasia dish is a crispy delight. Colocasia absorbs Indian spices very well and you will end up asking for another helping!
