F O O D I E Musings 🥒🥕🥑🍋 I love to make my own salad dressing. It's easy, delicious and I know exactly what's in it because I made it. I was craving a really good #veggiebowl the other day, so Hav and I fixed a salad full of all the fresh veggies we had on hand including spinach 🍃, carrots 🥕 , cucumber 🥒 , tomato 🍅, avocado 🥑, broccoli, and peppers 🌶 topped with garbanzo beans and olives. We ate the rainbow 🌈 literally. To dress our veggie bowl I envisioned a creamy green goddess dressing, but had nothing like that on hand so I looked up a recipe and voila! I found a #vegan#avocado dressing that was simple to make and sooo tasty. For the record, we're not vegan I just like to keep it plant based when I can. Since using the avocado dressing for our salad, I've continued to use it as a spread for toast and sandwiches, a dip and added it to just about anything that remotely makes sense. It's that good. If you're an #avocadolover like me, try it for yourself.
1 ripe avocado, peeled and roughly chopped
1 Tbls extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil
½ cup water (a little more if needed)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 garlic clove
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Juice of 1 large lemon
1 tsp honey (optional)
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Blend it all together.
Little vegan pastry things. Served with Tabouli.
Bake sweet potato, scoop out inside put in bowl with some cooked lentils (or any cooked legume), sauteed onion, garlic and whatever seasonings you fancy (spicy or not) and mash it all up.
Fold a spring roll pastry sheet into 4 and put into a muffin tin.
Pile in the mash and top with strips of the sweet potato peel.
Bake at 200°C/400°F (or whatever you cook pastry at) for about 10-15 minutes, until golden.
Getting weird with food combinations again. Kale sautéed in Gaelic, turmeric spiced Japanese sweet potatoes, refried beans w some feta, mushrooms and red onion in basil and a lil bit of hummus. Not paleo but veg friendly and healthy.

2. Das "Hähnchenfleisch" von @likemeat.de schmeckt richtig gut 😍 Ich habe es mit einem Gyros-Gewürz und Öl mariniert🍗
3. Ich liebe Brokkoli, Blumenkohl und Romanesco💚
So, ich mache mir jetzt mein Abendessen 🔜 #Oatmeal ich komme😍🍫
Back at it this Monday evening with a bowl of germinated brown rice, @edenfoods black beans + red onion, bell pepper, @quepasafoods tomato salsa, baby spinach/kale/arugula, @wholefoods guac, and a ton of cilantro.
Life has been too hectic for words lately, but Remicade infusion no. 3 was a success ✔️
