Lately my bud @vivedj 🕺🏻 has been trying to get more plant based meals in his life #adulting . I wanted to make him a dish that felt pretty complete but without the meat🙅🏻🍖. .
I swear, it's easier than it looks. I grated some halloumi 🧀, ☝️ zucchini, ☝️🥕, mixed in ☝️🥚, tossed in 2 tbsp of flour to glue it together & pan fried them into patties. Placed that on top
of blended peas & basil🍃. Then threw on some roasted tomatoes🍅 & arugula to pretty up the photo 😂
So tonight we tried the @woodvhouse vegan pop-up at @oddfellowsliquorbar for the first time.....all I can say is WOW!!!!!! 😛😛 We started with the loaded nachos & soft pretzel bites, omg both were amazing!!!!!! @meggietee had the loaded baked potato & @sillylittlevegan & I went with the grilled cheese!!!! Then had the chocolate 🍫 dipped banana 🍌 bites for dessert!!! Everything was super yummy!!!!!! 😋💜🌱✌🏼 We will definitely be back!!!!! •Today's workout felling
So, I'm fairly new to Buti Yoga community. Until this challenge, I have not attempted this style of yoga. Let me tell you, it is so much FUN, but so HARD. This challenge has been one of the hardest workouts I've done. It's a mixture of cardio, calisthenics, and flexibility all in one. And the sweat just rolls off. I haven't reached Buti bliss yet bc I'm a novice, but I will continue to try once these two weeks are over.

So with Pride weekend, I 100% fell off the healthy train this weekend. But it's Monday and I'm back at it today. We also got a working oven today so I took the opportunity to roast some potatoes and Brussels sprouts, then sautéed up some yellow squash, green beans, and tofu with some brown rice to bring it all together. I am in healthy food heaven.
Holy crap. I just started this book and it's amazing. Person development is such an important part of our road to becoming our best selves. But my ADD is so bad. so sitting and reading a book is so difficult for me. I find that listening to audio books while I'm cleaning or driving or cooking really helps me. I seem to clean faster and absorb it better. And when I need to take notes I stop and jot things down and go back to what I am doing. Anyone else do this? Health and fitness isn't just about working out and eating healthy. It's also working on your mental health too. Especially if you have issues like anxiety or low self esteem. That is a big part of my journey for sure!
