Quit dairy! You need cows milk just as much as you need dog milk. You can find healthier substitutions like almond milk, rice milk, soy milk, etc... you do not need to put this in your body. It also has a sugar called D-galactos that speeds up the aging process. Consuming dairy can be just as bad as smoking ciggarettes. It also causes acne and bloating. Give it a try and watch how much better you'll feel! I aplogize if this offends anyone but honestly, it's time that we stop hurting animals and hurting our planet when we literally do NOT need to. Nothing tastes better to me than a giant bowl of green with copious amounts of veg, beans, and grains. In here I have half a container of spring mix, cous cous, red & green peppers, potatoes, giant Lima beans, pickled red onions (made a jar yesterday), carrots, radishes and zuchinni. I don't even need a salad dressing with how many flavors are in this!!!

Day 1 full (dietary) vegan. I was taking this at my own pace and gradually cutting down on meat and dairy products over the last couple of weeks, but after watching #cowspiracydocumentary I can't comfortably consume another animal product or byproducts. I was vegetarian for 10 years or so, so I don't think it will be too difficult for me to make this change. I think the more difficult changes for me will be to my beauty products, clothing, etc., but one thing at a time. I first want to feel I've got the food down, and whilst I'm doing that I'm researching vegan friendly makeup etc., so that I'm as well informed as I can be. This started for me as a selfish thing - about my health and my life expectancy - much due to my obsession with nutritionfacts.org - but since learning about the bigger picture (again thank you to the makers of #Cowspiracy ) I am definitely planning to make this an overall lifestyle - not just dietary. Anyway, I overslept this morning so I grabbed some food near work. This is rhubarb and apple crumble porridge with lots of yummy things thrown in - including pumpkin and sunflower seeds. I'm definitely not going to be able to finish all of this!!
