When it comes to the normal butter to 🥖 ratio, it gets blown far out of proportion here! This butter is good enough to be eaten on its own, really. Have we gushed enough about it? You are more then welcome to cook with this butter, but we suggest you slather it on a good slice of 🍞 , or let it melt over a nice piece of 🐟 to really taste the flavor. ⠀
Here's the real tip though: always leave a stick of butter out on the counter in a covered butter dish so that you have spreadable butter at the ready any time you need it. And trust us, when it comes to this butter, you will want it ready to spread often!⠀

Vermont Creamery Bonne Bouche is one of the most unique cheeses I’ve ever tasted. Right from the beginning, this ash-ripened goat cheese captures your attention with its ultra delicate rind. It’s so incredibly soft to the touch, but deliciously runny on the inside. At first taste, it’s moldy with a light but noticeable ash taste. It’s very lactic but distinct with a mineral. I can’t say I LOVE it, but I give this cheese a whole lot of respect. #babygotbrie 3/5 stars.
Vermont Creamery’s double cream Cremont is a mix made in heaven! This luscious mix of cow and goat cheese makes for a true sensation for the tastebuds. It’s nutty with a hint of lemon. I loved pairing it with some apricot and orange crackers. This one gets a #babygotbrie 4/5 stars!

It's a new year. Dream big. They often say that your eyes are bigger than your stomach. While that may be true, we're pretty sure you and your closest (30 or so) friends could put these @vermontcreamery Bonne Bouche down if you put your minds to it. The creamy paste is coated in ash and allowed to ripen to oozy, briny deliciousness. All you need is some thick slabs of walnut bread as the perfect vessel.

And now for an American butter! While you may find this marbled yellow log on market shelves more easily than many other American cultured butters, I promise you it’s nothing to scoff at. Vermont creamery makes several butters, but this is its glistening prize: The European style, 86% butterfat, cultured butter with sea salt crystals. It has a deep, rich, creamy flavor that indeed could easily be confused with a northern French beurre de baratte.
Strong pockets of salt crystals which have maintained their crunch can be found throughout making it almost too salty for just eating alone, but perfect for slathering on your favorite substrate or for any cooking that will allow its flavor to sing. I used it last night with a dry white wine and other simple goodies to steam some mussels for a classic moules marinière recipe, then, naturally and gleefully, drank the golden broth. #vermontcreamery#americanbutter#audreysbutterlibrary#culturedbutter
