When I saw this lady I was wondering why it's so rare to see old Chinese people in London . In my mind the Chinese and Japanese are ageless, they just don't grow old. Looking at this lady I was wondering what kind of background she had.. She was wearing a traditional amber bracelet on one wrist and a jade bangle on the other. Maybe she believes in these healing power or they symbolise wealth? She was very composed . She drifted off every now and then. Even in her sleep she was very aware of her belongings, she held her bag very tightly. Sometimes she hooked it around her arm three times to ensure that no one can take it.
I had a old, stocky bloke sitting next to me. His Hawaii shirt was open on his belly. He had an untidy beard/moustache. He really should have shaved. He was trying to find things in his bag. Got a perfume out and spayed it on his hands and almost washed his hands with it. It smelled nice. A bit later he got a rum bottle out of his bag and started to drink rum . I could smell it. It gave me a cringe. He also fell asleep a little bit later. He was an interesting bloke, shame I couldn't take a picture of him. That was my norther line journey from Burnt Oak to Kings Cross yesterday.
