I normally don’t invest in action figures unless they’re Black Series, which is a line whose attention to detail is fantastic. However, I’ve made a couple of purchases in the last couple of years that I can honestly say are highlights of my entire Star Wars collection. Tonight, I found what is the greatest addition to date.
I have a few points I look at when it comes to toys:
1. The packaging - if it’s badly damaged, I won’t buy it. In this case, there is one slight flaw in the lower right corner; a barely perceptible crease, likely from the plastic around it. Not the end of the world. I also look at if the graphics on the package have faded. The colors are vibrant and the package looks like it was completely unmolested by time, which is incredible considering that it’s likely as old if not older than I am.
2. The action figure proper - he’s never been removed from the package. This is a mint condition Like Skywalker, folks. All of the accessories are intact and mint.
3. Unique branding - any Star Wars fan worth their salt will immediately notice that this is a Revenge of the Jedi toy. The title as we all know it today is Return of the Jedi. Also, and what is probably the most indicative of this being a vintage action figure, is that Kenner no longer exists as a brand. It has since merged with several others and is now Hasbro.
As the kids these days say, I’m lit. #starwars#starwarsactionfigures#starwarsactionfigure#lukeskywalker#lukeskywalkeractionfigure#kennertoys#vintageactionfigure#starwarsfanboy
