Close our eyes to the octopus ride
Isn't it good to be lost in the wood
Isn't it bad so quiet there, in the wood
Meant even less to me than I thought
With a honey plough of yellow prickly seeds
Clover honey pots and mystic shining feed
New Seashell Babes with octopus headresses in the works... #gypsylovespell
Vintage metal, child's desk top bought at an estate sale found hidden in my studio. Like treasure hunting in my own home. Another reason to organize my studio. Hung it on the wall to organize my @sizzix @tim_holtz magnetic movers and shapers dies. Looks cool and now I can find them easily.
Started organizing my home #craftstudio . Gathered together the small metal embellishments including lots of old #vintage trinkets. Organized in my dad's old IRC #resistor metal drawers. Gotta start somewhere.#withyou
When going through my studio, I rediscovered these beautiful little tubes of @grumbacherart oil paints that belonged to my beautiful Grandma. Never used or opened, she paid $2.25 for these diminutive tubes. I love seeing them and holding them. They are .37 fl oz each. I have no idea if they’re usable and wouldn’t anyway. They are a precious history to me of her love of art, creativity, and beauty which I’m so thankful she passed along to me. ❤️

Sonny Boy, a Los Angeles born and raised artist was surprised to discover his talent when he was asked to paint one of his client’s glass storefront for the first time. He then inspired and pursued a vintage painting job since then. Now, he has made a traditional painting famous throughout Los Angeles, weather it is Little Borough like Silver Lake or Highland Park or downtown, everywhere you look, its old things coming back to life.
My boyfriend's sweet aunt found this old oil kit at an estate sale in Georgia and sent it to me. Finally looking through the contents and sorting what might still be usable. Pretty stoked about those made-in-Germany brushes still in the packaging! (Also the loose, honest-to-goodness Made in the USA.) Anyone know anything about #duro sable brushes?
When I was a kid, my mom let me use her old college art supplies... Didnt have to mess with shitty crayolas! She eventually gave them to me and I still cherish them. (Thanks mom!) Anyways, I'm in love with this 70s typeface...nowadays #prismacolor pencils look boring. That "eagle" logo ✨🙌🏼. I've decided to retire them so I don't sharpen off the magic.
Happy Friday, y'all! I'm almost finished with the studio revamp, so I thought I should share what's become my new favorite spot. A few months ago I almost sold this 1920s aqua medical cabinet and I'm so glad Mike talked me out of it. I had to pull some other bits and bobs from other areas to fill it for this photo, but that just means I have extra room to add more stuff, right? Lol! #buyvintagesavetheworld#vintageartsupplies#artstudio#vintagesquee#mansfieldcottage#memphistn
Rangoli is a folk art practiced in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. The art form is an expression of artistic vision through the joyful use of color. Beautiful designs are created in courtyards and on floors to celebrate special occasions. This vintage set of powders has never been opened.
