Off to her new home today!
Heads up! Custom Orders will be closing on Sunday.
I'm yet to get started on our wedding arch (our wedding is in 4 months) so have to prioritise myself for a little bit. We will most likely reopen before Christmas.
There is currently a 1 1/2 week turnaround time for your orders
My mama made this very groovy hanging macrame table way back in about 1976. Swipe across to see a photo of me in nappies while my mum was actually making it! She'd like it to go to a good home. It also holds a pot plant up above the table section. The original table insert (black and yellow resin!) no longer exists, this is just a chipboard insert. Very cool vintage macrame! Open to offers, pick up from far north coast or Gold Coast. #macrame#vintagemacrame#forsale

One big thing about most macramé pieces is that once they leave the hand of the crafters, it's hard to identify who made it. While clothing items have labels attached that let you know which designer or brand you have bought, the majority of macramé work doesn't. Without being precious about it...I sometimes wonder if future generations of owners will know who made the piece that's hanging in their living room.
Having said that, I have no idea who made this beautiful vintage tapestry that's hanging in our hallway. Does anyone have a clue?! 🤔 #macrame#vintagemacrame#tapestry#handmade 📸 @imagine.silke ✨

Just listed! Matching macrame 🍬 seem handmade. The lining is in great shape and macrame rope is sturdy with no holes or tears. Turquoise bag is a tad bit wider, the pink one is more of a precise rectangle with longer strap. Link in bio! #availablecosmiccult
Bought this macrame wall hanging created in the early 1970s yesterday from my 91 year young macrame teacher. She was important in my budding art career for many reasons. I am left handed and when I was young NO one would teach me to knit or crochet because of this . I came to believe that left handed people were handicapped , so to speak. This teacher who is also left handed helped me to realize that I could work with fibers . I am honored to be the caretaker of my teacher's artwork. #lefthanded#vintagemacrame#kachina#1970s#macrame#teachers#thankful
