🎙 Anna Of The North
What a debut for this Norvegian girl...! Really beautiful voice.!!! Damn.....
if you do not know her, listen the song "Boredom" with Tyler the Creator in his last album, "Flower Boy".!
"You Liked Me Five Minutes Ago" (Rune Grammofon, 2009)

#MatsGustafsson only does one thing: he blows really hard into a saxophone. The questions are: do you like the way he does it? and do you like his backing band? In the case of Fire!, both get a "yes." His trademark, overblown, Trane-meets-Pharoah sheets of sound get a hypnotic, pulsing backing from kit drums and acoustic bass, and the sax man himself sometimes adds some distorted (of course!) Fender Rhodes. If you like #avantgarde jazz, this should make it into your ears at some point: there are moments when the rich, earthy tonal palette of the rhythm section meshes with the wounded howls of the sax in a way that hints at a kind of shamanic magic, grounded and transcendent all at once.

#septvinylchallenge Day 20: Expensive Album You Got for Cheap
Dredg - The Pariah, the Parrot, the Delusion
Recently, I've been going through my collection and adding them to Discogs. I've come across quite a few that are selling for a lot more than I paid for them. This is one ood my favorites. I got this 180g grey marble double LP for just $6 on amazon in 2011. Currently on Discogs it's going for $80+. Not bad!
Bonus: Frenzal Rhomb - A Man's Not a Camel
Awesome Australian punk band. Got this LP at Ranch Records in Salem, Oregon years ago for a dollar in their dollar bin. Recently added it to Discogs and there's just one for sale at $120. Hard to beat that! ----------
