Missing big London breakfasts like this. A feast of hot coconut ricotta cakes with mangoes, charcoal toast with avocado and sun dried tomato pesto and labneh. A banana bread with summer berries. I love how you can get non dairy drinks everywhere in London and they always have a variety of oat, almond or soy milk. Not just one type of plant based milk.
This spectacular walk is the southern Yorkshire Dales classic and probably the most popular of all walks in the National Park. The circular course crosses some of the best limestone scenery in the Dales and in turn visits Janet's Foss waterfall, awesome Gordale Scar, quiet Malham Tarn and finally the towering limestone scar at Malham Cove.
Here’s a #tbt from May 5 2014 taken in Stamford, a beautiful town in Lincolnshire, fairly close to Peterborough. We’ve only been there once, but after going through the photos tonight, I’m hoping to head back there sometime soon. #vscocam#vscox#vsco#villagelife
Grand and gothic Westminster Abbey has been watching over London in one form or another for more than 900 years, although it's been a religious site for even longer and every coronation of a British king and queen has taken place there since 1066. The abbey is packed to the arches with tombs and memorials to the illustrious of Britain's past, like Queen Elizabeth I, Charles Darwin and Isaac Newton. Random fact: the abbey is full of weird and wonderful quirks but the keen-eyed can find the kingdom's oldest door by the Chapter House. Carbon-dated to the mid-11th century, the oak door has hide on it that was for a long time thought to be the skin of a thief flayed for his crimes...it turned out to be cow hide.
Oh Oxford, you're so dreamy! The dramatic and beautiful spires of oxford draw visitors from around the world. Huge thank you to @elenakrizhevskaya for this stunning shot! And what a view. Most visitors flock to the world famous university but there's plenty more to see - from the river Thames to quaint court yard shops and even historic pubs and stately homes! The shopping is not bad either. Do you have a photo to share? Don't forget to use the #mybritain tag for a chance to feature.
