The first day of FALL can only mean one thing: the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! We're celebrating our 30th this year from November 10 - 12, and can't wait for you to join us! >>>Ticket link in bio<<<
I wish everyday was spent somewhere this breathtaking, gazing through the wildflowers at a perfect Instagram-worthy sunset. But that's just not how the life cookie crumbles.
Tonight the sun was setting while I was stuck in standstill traffic - my day was "on your toes ALL day" busy and I was incredibly exhausted, I almost didn't even notice the sun getting lower in the sky, giving the mountains that dreamy - straight out of a fairytale - shadowy goodness... almost! So glad I gave that traffic the side-eye and glanced to the west. 🌄
It made me realize that when I catch a sunset (or a sunrise for that matter) it's usually done pretty intentionally. Like, if I didn't make plans to watch it, I just don't... even if it's right in front of me. Pretty silly huh?!
And maybe there's a bigger life metaphor in there somewhere - in fact, I'm positive there is BUT after a 12 hour day, my brain has officially shut off! What do you miss if you're not intentionally looking for it?! Tell me I'm the comments below! 💛
@hikemoremountains knows that the best views always come after the hardest climb! 💪 I couldn't agree more! Thanks for sharing your photo with us @hikemoremountains 🌄

She would shine again regardless
Of the storms and changeable weather
She wouldn't adjust her purpose
For things that pass."

2 ↠ Give me a peachy sunset, a field of wildflowers, or an ice cream shop AND I'm one happy gal!
3 ↠ I'm on the hunt for a great < affordable > work bag! Must be extra durable, big enough for a laptop, books, etc. and have the ability to lock... two zippers is fine! Drop your suggestions below! ↡
