Thanks to our unexpected recuse assistance yesterday we didn't get down to Shasta last night. Instead we stayed with friends in Salem. But since we are down here we figured, why not head down to Shasta today? We won't have time for Lassen but Shasta had been calling our name ever since we glimpsed it from the PCT. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will be standing on top of another giant snowy volcano!
