I've been making a lot more smoothies now that it's warmer out 🌞I love adding frozen banana, mangoes, blueberries, but still have to be careful with how much I add because sometimes it can be too sweet for me! I counter balance the sweetness with spinach, matcha, and some avocado as you see here :) this one's topped with coconut flakes, black sesame seeds and cashew butter. What are your favorite smoothie combos? I always add spinach and bananas 🌿Comment below! ✨👇

Home cooked chicken stew: 1) sauté 1 sliced onion in avocado oil for 5mn, 2) add 4or 5 pieces of chicken and grill on both sides with the sliced onions on medium heat (about 3mn each side), 3) add turmeric, salt and pepper, powder ginger, cinnamon, cumin, tarragon, thyme, 4) add 3 large chopped potatoes, 2 chopped carrots, 5) add chicken broth or water, 6) cover and let it cook for 60mn at low temp (to reduce liquid remove cover halfway through and finish cooking with the lid), 7) top it off with fresh parsley or cilantro and ENJOY! 😋#chicken#dinner

Ever used quinoa to replace the granola in a yogurt bowl .. no? Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it either.🙈 Basically I didn't have any granola in my pantry & didn't have the time to make some, so I thought it would be okay to just replace it with quinoa. It's not the same.👎🏻 Still an okay bowl just not quite what I was hoping for.🤷🏼♀️

So tired and so excited for the long weekend that I'm keeping it simple this week with easy meat and veg combos 🐓🌱 Tonight: quick pan fried chicken cutlet (that I breaded with some flax seed meal for that healthy fiber 💪) and some butter sautéed leeks. Simple, delicious, and definitely ate a double portion. 🙈
I whipped up a batch of gluten-free shortbread cookies for my coworkers and they were such a hit! My favorite part was telling them after they tried them that they were GF! I'm not GF but the @bobsredmill mix was so easy to use and so delish 😍 #BRMeveryday#ad

Confession :: I'm a watermelon fiend. 😏🍉 Back home, the fam and I go through what seems like two watermelons a week - we're obsessed! So here's a bed of mean greens, bluebs and my favorite watermelon, fennel, goat cheese, hazelnuts, and what I'm dubbing as Sunshine Salad Dressing. This is what went in the blender, adjust ratios to your taste! 👇🏽
juice of 1 orange
zest of 1/2 orange and 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp tahini
1 tsp turmeric
Salt and lots of fresh black pepper [Here's the thing with #turmeric - I know it's trendy and all, but to fully optimize the absorption of it you need to consume it either with something fatty as turmeric is a fat-soluble, or with lots of fresh black pepper because of peppers piperine property, which increases turmeric's bioavailability for our bodies - sorry for the science lesson, y'all! 😂]

A very very respectable bowl of TBN. Deep flavorful soup, thick al dente handmade style noodles, tender braised half beef half tendon, generous sprinkle of the pickled veggies and green onions. Delicious.
