Do as many pushups as you can in 30 seconds, 30 seconds of squats, and 30 seconds of high knee jogging; and if you have stairs- run up 5 floors during your next break! Don't be shy! Yes I eat, sleep and breathe yoga. This is my daily morning reminder to get my body moving in some way everyday. Today I am awake to encouraging more people to put yoga on their daily/weekly to-do list. I have so many conversations with people who say I want to do yoga but I'm not flexible or I really want to try yoga but I don't know the poses or I'll start when .... Well guess what - that was me too. But I gotta say "drop the doubt - the hesitation - the tomorrow - and wake up and smell the poses TODAY! And to those that DO yoga take your practice somewhere new today and wake up a new found muscle. 
So many opportunities to catch a class today and everyday @graceandgloryyoga. Lots of new options too. 
I'm leading a 60 minute FIIT class tonight at 7:30 pm that combines yoga with strength and fitness on the most amazing level of connecting with your body and feeling powerful. Join me tonight for a "what just happened" kinda feeling.

• I have learned 2 things in the past 3 days. 
1.) I graze A LOT! I had no clue that I snacked as much as I did! Honestly I was continuously having to stop myself. 😳
• I am going to make it my number 1 priority to make sure I don't go back to grazing!
2.) I experienced that you don't need large portions of food in each meal to not starve. The key to eating smaller portion sizes and still stay full is...to drink LOTS of WATER 💧and eat every 2 hours! I'm not saying eat large meals every 2 hours, I am saying eat a portion the size of your fist.
• I have never been one to do portion control, I have just always thought that I had it under control because I eat clean. Not the case! In fact you can still over eat when eating clean and healthy! I believe that's why I am always feeling bloated and weighed down. So portion control is something that I am going to implement into my health journey!
• I have had such a great experience with this wake up call for my body that I am going to do this every other month! 😃
