Month 2: Today Marks a month of me looking after my body, especially in the matter of what I'm fuelling my body with.
Before going on this lifestyle change I used to be a massive junk food eater, I would always buy the supersize version because I deemed it more value for money. And if I brought a 6 pack of crisps, I assure you I would of eaten them all in the day. Alongside lots of sweets chocolate and no real meal structure. When I did eat it would always be a meal deal with a bottle of coke as my go to drink. So let's chat about coke cola for a second; I was addicted, at least that's what I believe. I would drink bottle after bottle everyday, from really early in the morning to really late at night. I couldn't sleep because the caffeine was driving my crazy and my stomach always felt like giant airbag. Filled to the brim, heavy and bloated about to pop! I can now say it's been a month not drinking it, and although I do miss it's Carmel taste sometimes I feel better then ever! Chocolate took a months break to, if we don't count coco powder that is.
So here I am, only a month into my lifestyle change with my phase one compete! I have changed my eating habits! I now love food that makes my skin glow and my body feel light and energised! I enjoy trying to think up healthy alternatives or new recipes to make the bad things I loved good! It's also opened me up to want to try new food, and I enjoy sitting down and appreciating a meal.
Now onto phase two; Fitness! Throughout the last month although I've eaten well, I haven't worked out much. But on the few times I did, my endorphins released and I felt happier in my mind and body. I am a big fan of walks out in nature, getting away from troubles and taking in the NOW. But as the weather gets colder and the rain starts to fall I think it's time for me to start the gym, I like the gym and always feel I push my body that one step extra there. Seeing everyone pumping energy and pushing themselves to their limits. It makes me want to try harder! To reach new limits and new goals! Although this month I haven't lost loads of weight, I just feel happier and healthier and I can't wait for this next month! 💪🏼🙌🏼
