After an epic 40 day trek from Melbourne, The Salvation Army’s Major Brendan Nottle has finally arrived at Canberra’s Parliament House. Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Bill Shorten MP, as well as Federal Member for Melbourne, Adam Bandt MP joined Major Nottle on the last kilometre of his walk to show their support for his incredible achievement.
In Canberra, Major Nottle hopes to meet with key government representatives to discuss the establishment of a national nonpartisan strategy to help end homelessness in Australia.
