In case I havent shared enough
WE HATE DIABETES!!! When your kid goes to sleep you don’t have to worry about them not waking up because their blood sugar is low.
You don’t have to wonder if the reason they are up 3 times to use the bathroom is because they just had too much to drink or if they have high blood sugar
When they get the flu and start puking you don’t have to count how many times they have puked before it’s time to head to the hospital.
You don’t have to try to poke their finger and squeeze blood out of their little weak finger to make sure they are in a safe range.
Jack texted me to tonight while I was teaching to say he felt ill. He checked his blood he was 3.5. Went to bed when I got home since his blood came up to 6.1. 1 hour later I can hear him making noises in his room. Go in and he is puking everywhere. So for jack if he pukes 2 times we head to the ER because he can’t control his blood sugar or keep anything down to be safe.
So here we lay on the couch all cleaned up. And I just pray he doesn’t puke again so he can sleep and stay home. I pray his blood sugar stays levelled and we make it through the night with no problems.
Again like I have shared before these are some of the things i never thought I would have worry about when i became a mom. Worrying if your kid makes it through the night safely!!!
This swing right here, was made with coconut fibre....properly assembled, they make strong ropes.
Nothing in #nature is a waste, given time and space mankind is capable of much even without access to advanced machinery and technology.

Anyone up late road-tripping home for Thanksgiving weekend?? 🚗🦃🥧
Hopefully your car’s a little roomier than this one we found in Rome and you have some caffeine to keep you awake 🤞
Let us know where you’re headed! 👇👇
It’s been awhile since I shared my fave TJ finds of the week!!! Here’s some for this week ☺️ 1. Unsweetened Coconut flakes for sprinkling on top of superfood smoothies or yogurt...sooo good! And cheap 🙌🏻 2. Beet/orange juice. Add a tiny splash into your smoothie for the most beautiful color and taste 💕🌸🎀 3. Vegetable broth. Super plain, cheap and I’ve been adding it to that veggie wonton soup recipe I shared a bit ago!
Hope you enjoy! Xo
And keeping up with the list of what I’m grateful for. I think one of them(I thought of it just today actually) is that I’m an immigrant. It’s the biggest struggle but at the same time is the biggest blessing. The eager to work and learn day and night in the country that is far away from your home has made me who I am right now. Im grateful for the opportunity that only being an immigrant can afford me which is the possibility of realizing my highest potential #GratefullyMaed

Almost there, almost there. Today is the day, hopefully border control will be slick and we won't forget anything as there's no way back over the wall 😏(if you're wondering, what's the pink thing sticking from the back, it's a tool to show drivers they should keep the safe distance when overtaking) Hasta pronto from Mexico!
Wow Guys! We cannot express our gratitude enough for all 400 of you!!! Thanks so much for the love! And there are still many exciting travels to come! 😍
Puka beach in Boracay is surely a place to chill at! You can reach it by renting a private paraw (traditional Philippine small sailing boat) or by motorbike over land... We rented a paraw with the Red Pirates Pub... They were really laidback, but super professional, and gave us a super great deal... Highly recommend it! 😎💕⛵
On our road trip, I carried around my mat so that I could still exercise. This picture was taken as a bit of a laugh by Jack who thought me exercising on a mat in 38 degree heat was stupid. I can’t disagree but it was good fun.
This photo was taken in Plitvice National Park. You’re not allowed to wild camp in Croatia, so this was one of the few camp sights we stayed in along the way. It was 2km away from Entrance 2 in the middle of the National Park.
Make sure you check out the other posts of my blog about the beautiful Plitvice National Park! Link in bio ⬆️
Waking up in this bed to views of the Empire State has definitely been a highlight of this trip. We checked into The Tuscany and have had the most fabulous stay in their loft suite. Thanks for having us @stgilestuscany. Review coming soon! 🍎🚖
Under the sea 💦down where it's wetter, darling its better! Take it from me.
There really is no place like the underwater restaurant at @conrad_maldives it makes me giddy with excitement every year I visit! Would you love to wander here? How many sharks can you spot?? 🦈✨#stayinspired#conradmaldives
When you travel you always find things different from what you see at home. This is the first time I have seen a beach like this with mostly rocks. I'm used to all sand beaches. But the differences are one of the things that draw me to travel, whether those differences are from the people, the culture, the buildings or a different style beach! Comment below with your favorite difference when you travel!
GASTOWN ✨ Vancouver’s oldest neighborhood. It was named after John ‘Gassy Jack’ Deighton who opened the first business, a tavern, back in 1867. Gastown is known for its beautiful cobblestone streets and Victorian era style street lamps.
The historic charm remains in the city and is a beautiful area to go for dinner and drinks.. or simply take a walk.
The tall building is a revolving restaurant that gives you an unobstructed view of the city.
