The evolution of my face painting! Every one of these were (at the time of painting them) the VERY best that I could do. And every one of them I’m still unbelievably proud of! The far left one was painted 6 months ago, way before I started to see myself as a ‘miniature painter’. The far right one (furthest on the right should I say 😂) was painted last week. Never be embarrassed by your older painting efforts. Never allow others’ judgements to cloud your personal achievements. Never compare your painting skills to others. Use every mini as a painting lesson, even if it’s simply to paint it as fast as you can to get it on the gaming table. Paint what you love and love what you paint. And never, ever lose that childlike joy of creating something that you are immensely proud of 😊😊😊
Hey everyone! Apologies for the lack of posts this week. I’ve been held up at home with the nastiest case of tonsillitis that I think I’ve ever had. Haven’t even been able to get into work, let alone have the energy to paint. But fingers crossed I’ve turned the corner and am on the mend. I’m on the highest dose of penicillin you can be prescribed without going down the route of IV antibiotics 😭 But here you can see what’s on the painting table at the moment. I’m painting a fun little project for a friend of an Ork Goff-style “dakka-biplane”. Then there’s the Shadowseer and Big Mek is making steady, if slow, progress. Hoping to get back on it over the next few days and looking forward to sharing my progress on these models 👍
So our recent picture from Barnes and Noble quickly became our most liked photo ever, but I think we can get even more love for our FLGS, @gamesville_tabletop! Where is your favorite game store?!? -Wes
Took me forever to finish painting these, but the Sisters of Averlorn are finally ready to rock. #warhammer#highelves
