I love adaptogenic herbs.
Adaptogenic herbs help Our unique bodies adapt to stress, supporting our whole system in a powerful, intuitive, holistic way .
And I LOVE this highly grounding formula from Healthforce! With amazing roots, herbs, seeds, spices, minerals and probiotics, it warms you, nourishes you and brings earthy nutrition to your body, which is incredibly helpful as we walk into Fall and Winter. It also supports your detox organs and immune system, feeds your blood and brain, and helps with regularity .
If you do greens powders, this formula balances out the "coldness" the greens embody for better assimilation, energetic harmony and absorption.
You can add it to water/smoothies or can make a warm broth/tea .
This warming, grounding earthiness is definitely calling to me today 🍁

This is my simple chai recipe (scroll through). We could call it lazy chai too 🙊but it's still warming and nourishing the way chai is meant to be. There is one step that inauthentic recipes usually miss that totally kills it in my opinion. And that is simmering the spices with milk. Like eggs, chicken, or other meats, milk takes on different properties when cooked down, which is one reason why raw milk is not superior to boiled milk; they have different benefits. Cooked foods in general are far more warming, thus simmering spices with milk adds to the warming effect of the spices. It also provides fat which can improve the absorption of some medicinal constituents of spices (another reason why low fat dairy sucks). This three spice chai is so easy!
