(Part 2)When I thought my day is gettin better, the best is yet to come. A Viet friend of Ilham, Two, invited us to come to see his jazz performance. I was told that he has been playing saxo for about 10 years, and the jazz pub we're about to see is one of the finest jazz place in Japan, even some performers told him that it is better than in America. Idk. I've never been to America before nor visiting many jazz clubs ._. .
The pub, suprising me, is a tiny basement bar about 2 minutes walk from the station. I'm not into jazz, completely hv no idea but enjoying the artworks.
And I completely lost myself that night, savouring the good vibes and good music, quietely siting like a lil kid while mesmerizing people from all ages, from baseball secondary school student to old men and bloody Julliard graduates! performed.
All I know that I still can remember their enthousiasm, the happiness and excitement they share way way bigger than the size of the room. The later it is, the more great performers are coming. Two said I was so lucky that night to see such great performance by great artist. Kinda rare. Underated but daaamnnn good. *I know, Two* believe me I whisper that manytimes to myself."D The guesses are also coming from various background, many foreigners like Parisians to Japanese ordinary couple, and there's me (?) I only recorded the beginings by phone, and save the rest with my eyes, ears, and all heart. .
Ilham said Two and others in that room can stay up all night both watching and playing songs. I hv no doubts. I ended up getting back late after all, by keep saying "after this song". I didn't regret for not bringin 2 couple of shoes, and suddenly separate my self from my group to get new one. .
I sleep very well that night,
and I thanked God for everything,
again and always. . . . .
Ps: Dear Ilham and my saviorgoddess @raliaputeri , I'm truly deeply happy for both you!! Yeah, your welcome, mates! kindly take it as a thank from me, eh! LOL ~love you guys!! #tokyo#japan#wasedauniversity#shinjuku#shinjukustation#lostintokyo#unfortunate#fortunate#expecttheunexpected#jazz#jazzspotintro#japanjazz
