It's said you need 10,000 hours to master a skill. 🤔 Ever wonder how many hours you've ran, trained, studied, and practiced at certain things? I always believe in quality over quantity most the time anyways. 🕙TIME is one thing that becomes SO much more valuable as it goes on.
I love trying to suck every last morsel of goodness out of the time I have. You know.?! Anyways- as a precursor to all this, my MARATHON TRAINING (for those interested) consists of 3 "key runs". Quality. Tempo, track and a long run. The surrounding days are cross training, or a recharge, and chance to do other activities I love. This method is seen in the "run less run faster" program/book. I plug in goal times and follow the app on my phone. (Works for 5k, 10k, half, novice marathon and marathon) I have 4.5wks of training left, counting down from 16. Aiming for a sub 330 #ogdenmarathon . ✔️🤣It's HARD. Training for any marathon goal is blood, sweat, tears hard. But small price for the world of lessons and self knowledge you get in return.
