We just checked into @tatatulum and this place is seriously NEXT LEVEL.
This morning we stepped out of our rooms onto the beach and watched an unreal sunrise. After sunrise we had one of the most bomb breakfasts ever 🍳🌅

I’m going to love you in your weakest moments to your strongest ones. I’m going to love you when you’re happy and I’m going to still love you the most when you’re sad. I want to love you, each and every piece of you. I want you with your imperfections as much as I want you for you. And I’m always going to want you, I’m always going to be here loving you with everything... our love will last forever! you’re my home and my forever ... keep that deep in your heart!
One of the many great things of being in a relationship is you have a partner to adventure with. @nimsay12 and I have done so much together from traveling to trying new foods, to rides and experiences we never thought we'd do when we hadn't met.
New Zealand was one of those adventures and I'm so happy I got to do it with my best friend and love of my life.
The most relaxing part of our trip was our stop at the @onsenhotpools in Queenstown. It was hard to get a booking and frankly I see why. They were booked almost every hour of every day that we were in Queenstown. Thankfully I managed to get a slot for Yaz and I. Thanks again for having us @onsenhotpools, can't wait to come again 🙌
"Making it" the process, realization, and concept of doing your art for a profession. Income, travel, expenses, all in regard to the career and pursuit of the art.
I won't sit here, in the cafe I work at, trying to pretend I'm making it. The fact is photography only accounts for a small sum of my income and my time spent in the pursuit is genuinely minuscule. This is about the process and not the destination. The destination is vague, undefined. There are goals and personal expectations to adhere to which define the concept of making it for me. Today I am not there. Today I am shifting gears. For a minute now, I've been in the backseat of my life. I drove 7,000 miles in the last month and only 1,000 were dedicated to this pursuit. That's about to change. In heart and reality.
When you want something you fight for it. When you need something you get it. My aspirations hold solely to the completion of my goal. To make it. That will be an on-going pursuit. On this day I can that's what I want for myself. On this day I can also say I'm ready to go all in.
I've set myself up for the following years. Ambitions too high and desires to many. I am living in a truck, in the heart of Colorado, at 10,000 feet in elevation. If that doesn't scream devotion to an unrooted life and an endless passion I don't know what does.
This is one of those "time to get your shit together Jake" type of moments.
Just finished my third semester of college and to celebrate I went out and shot and edited this video over the past twenty four hours. There's something about New York in the snow that's so special to capture and I hope this was able to do last night's flurry justice.
Well Christmas is upon us so I will start throwing some winter photos in my feed haha. Here is a photo of a small little cabin located in a convenience store parking lot haha. Only up here in the North county haha.
Pretty satisfying to have a view like this just down the road 💛
Amazing capture by @j_kreiss, thanks for tagging !
Let's destroy monotony together!

This afternoon, this buck wandered into the field behind my parent’s home. He was followed by a few people on foot and a big white truck belonging to the Fish and Game service. A couple of kind neighbors spotted him with wire wrapped around his snout and were out to help him. They darted him, removed the barbed wire, and assessed the damage. Very sadly, the injuries were far to extensive for him to heal and survive the harsh mountain winters. Shortly after the photo was taken, he was euthanized. This is the nature of the world we live in. Please remember that everything we do has a huge impact on the world around us. Death and life coexist. And still we have a responsibility to acknowledge the greatness of our impact and change what we can to preserve the delicate balances we have already interrupted.
Old school croquet wedding fun //
There's nothing quite like the beautiful celebration of a newly married bride & groom who clearly love one another, love their family & friends and love Jesus, to call you up to a higher standard of living in pursuit of God's love.
