Second rule of thumb - what is its SQ (sun quotient - i just made that up). Sun is our most primary source of energy for all life. When selecting what to eat, pay attention to how much sunlight it has received. The more, the better. This is why it makes sense to eat what’s in season & local.

Third rule of thumb isn’t a rule but a reminder - listen to your body! It knows exactly what it needs. What works for it, what doesn’t. And i mean body, not tongue.

In addition, these little tips go a long way in developing a more intimate relationship with your food & getting more out of what we eat: - eat in moderation (no need to feel “full”, approximately 3/4th is enough)
- chew as well as you can (don’t shove it down your throat)

We are not as solid as we tend to think. In fact, we more empty space than mass. And all of it, including the mass, is just pure energy, vibrating at varying frequencies. We are animated lumps of energy walking on a massive ball of energy(ies), mingling with other energies all the time. At the quantum level of this energy, we are vibrating particles/waves; every single second.
Higher the energy, higher the vibration (vibe). When disease (with its own frequency) strikes any part, that part’s frequency drops from its optimal resonance, along with that of our entire body.

Prosciutto have you met asparagus? Asparagus meet prosciutto... something tells me you two were meant to be together 💑💕✨... Maybe the BBQ is stowed away for winter, but these are just as tasty when baked in the oven! 😃 🛒1 bunch of asparagus 🛒1 package of prosciutto
🛒3 tbsp olive oil
🛒2 tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice
🛒salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line a baking sheet with tin foil. Trim stems of asparagus and wrap each stem with a strip of prosciutto until all stalks are used up. Roll wrapped stalks around in olive oil and bake for only 10-14 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar and seasonwith salt and pepper! 😋😋😋Enjoy friends! 💕

The first time I ate watermelon radish was last fall when I visited my friends in Washington, DC. It was a love at first sight😍😆 I always forget to look for it at the store but the other day, I found it😊 It is milder than some other radishes so eating it raw in a salad works nicely. And the beautiful color adds extra happiness to the dish😁 .

My skin on my hands regressed since yesterday. I have cooked with new things this week (green lentil lasagne & green curry paste) and bathed my children which my husband normally does so I am not sure how to pinpoint to one thing. I know I need to give my body some gentle care. My hands were doing well for 2 months so it's a bit discouraging but I'm trying to stay positive. It's a good chance to review my diet/make adjustments, and make sure I drink more water/eat more whole foods that are gentle to the body💪

We’re obsessed with plain Greek yogurt or Skyr as an ingredient. It’s a refrigerator staple like eggs, and milk. Here we’ve mixed it with a few spoonfuls of tahini (another staple), a tiny bit of honey, and a touch of salt. We spread it across the bottom of a plate and then top it with roasted delicata squash and sliced honeycrisp. It tastes indulgent and adds a good dose of satiating protein and fat to finished dish.

Отправляемся в новую гастрономическую одиссею. 
В прошлом далеко не веганы, дома теперь будем готовить без масла, сливок, сыра, мяса, колбасы.  Здорово, правда?? Не было бы счастья, да несчастье помогло: высокий холестерин у любимых членов семьи. Надо снижать, если хочешь жить долго и счастливо. То есть, все  привычные рецепты переосмыслить заново. Изучить и поменять содержимое холодильника. Чаще заходить в спортзал. И гуглить-гуглить всё о холестерине. Оливковое масло, например, в этом случае полезно – а кокосовое вредно (о пальмовом я уж вообще молчу). Вот сейчас сижу и изучаю, на каком масле лучше всего приготовить домашнюю гранолу. 
Я не стала бы начинать эту тему, если б не столкнулась с тем, как трудно найти по ней рецепты. Так что я решила постепенно собирать их здесь и делиться ими. Плюс полезные советы, наблюдения и открытия… И результаты, конечно!
