Introducing the 'Siena' Choker, a new design from the Edera 2018 'Tesora' Collection... Intricately beaded vines, roses, ivy leaves, and orange blossoms entwine to form this delicate and utterly romantic wedding choker necklace. Its vintage styling receives a modern update with a pearl backdrop pendant suspended from a slender chain--a perfect way to accentuate a low-backed wedding gown. All of the lace motifs are handcrafted and hand-embroidered in our VT, USA studio.

Today I'm so excited to announce the launch of the Edera 2018 'Tesora' Collection!
Taking its name from an Italian term of endearment meaning 'treasure' and 'tessera,' a small piece of tile used in the creation of mosaics, the Tesora Collection is inspired by the natural beauty of Italy and by the intricate mosaics and stone carving found in its medieval and Renaissance architecture. This collection is particularly close to my heart, as Italy is where my great-grandparents were originally from and I've always felt inspired by its art and culture.
The designs in the Tesora Collection feature my signature handcrafted lace motifs, accented with ornate bead weaving, sparkling crystals, delicate wired leaves, and touches of embroidery for an opulent, old world effect.
The collection is now available on ederajewelry.com (link in profile). Be sure to click onto today's Instagram Story to view a sneak preview, and to receive a special offer.
Special thanks go to the incredibly talented ladies who made the collection's photo shoot possible ♥️ Photographer: @ColetteKulig | Gown Designer: @joflemingdesign | Hair Stylist: @finishingtouchvt | Makeup Artist: @jenniferperelliemakeup | | Location: @marblehouseproject | Model: @devanfinkell
I have just begun a nine-hour train ride to Hamburg - yet another friend's wedding this weekend! Currently rocking the dining car, my favourite part of long distance train travel in Europe. This one even has tablecloths! Hamburg is on the Elbe river right in the north of Germany, really close to Denmark. It's funny, my boyfriend and I were following the Elbe river on our cycle trip across Czechia a few weeks ago. If we'd just kept going we could have cycled to this wedding... I was trying out my wedding outfit yesterday and I'm going to wear this slip dress by @thoughtclothing with one of my folk sun pendants on a long chain. I love boxy t-shirts and dresses. I've never had much of a waist so cinched in dresses do not flatter me! However I learnt recently that a pendant nestled between the breasts on a long chain creates some of that womanly v-shape. (Thanks @hilaryrushford!) It's surprising how well it works. So I'm very grateful to my pendant - a Slavic sunwheel - for its protection, bringing of good fortune, self-confidence and love, AND for the smoke and mirrors waist it gives me 😉
I hope you're all looking forward to a fun weekend too - nearly Friday!
Love, Hattie x
P.s. this pendant and other eco silver, folk-inspired jewellery are available on my e-shop now. Link in bio ❤️
