Me sticking out my tongue again.. -
I've been M.I.A for a while because I haven't had much going on in my life. Do you ever lose motivation and just live through the motions in life? Then snap back into reality and get motivated again? This was me.. I was living through the motions of sleeping, eating, and going to the bathroom for the past few days. But then, I realized, I needed to wake up and get my life back together! So, after this nice long nap (reason my tongue is sticking out), I started to get back on my grind. Read a quote earlier that said "It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get back up."
Let this be a reminder to you and me.. That it's normal to lose motivation working towards your goals. But, life is going to keep going. Time is going to continue. It's up to us to get back up and hustle. I'm back! 😊

1 Year Old
Fostered in Chinook, WA
My name is Frannie and I am in search of my forever family. I am a very sweet girl, who is a tad shy until I am sure you will be kind to me; then out comes the charm. At a year old, I’m all about playing; however, I am past that "crazy puppy" stage. My Kong and tennis balls are my keepin’ busy favorites.
Long walks with my foster siblings are the best! We go to a huge field where I can run "zoomies". I am very good about staying with my foster siblings and my foster parents let me run free, sorta. They always have a 20 foot lead attached to my collar for safety, as I am deaf and long distance recall can be challenging.
Car rides are the best, I usually lie down and take a nap. However, my foster parents are working on teaching me not to bark when I see people outside the car or at the gas attendant. I would do best with older children. I have a beautiful natural long tail and I love to wag it! My foster mom says, it feels like getting hit with a stick...she is kidding. But, seriously my tail wagging might not work around toddlers and young children, plus I cannot hear them if they are behind me.
I am working hard and learning with my foster family. Using the dog door to go out for potty is pretty easy, unless it is raining. I must confess, I have piddled where I shouldn’t because of the rain a couple times. The notion is beginning to sink in that rain or no rain, always go outside. There are always great Kathy cookies when I do it right, so the right things are the best things to do.
My foster folks are the best and they are teaching me to trust people. Being deaf isn’t easy and I’m just now learning hand signals. Previously, no one understood me and I definitely didn’t understand them. In the few weeks I have been in my foster home, I’ve learn to respond to some hand commands, when I get it right I also get a cookie.
I do not like a crate. I will chew on it until I hurt myself. I will bark, I will Howl, and I will do this until I have myself worked up into a state of anxiety. Foster mom says no crate. I get to be free in the house when my Foster parents are gone...
Did you know that in households experiencing domestic violence and abuse, there is a high risk of animal abuse. Studies have shown that over 50 per cent of persons entering a refuge to escape domestic violence reported their animals were harmed.
Some companion animal owners won't leave an abusive situation for fear of what might happen to their animals. It is an issue that impacts the wellbeing of humans and animals.
@sydneyanimalhospitals Inner West had a visit from Ingrid and Peter, local Domestic Violence Liaison Officers who gave us some insights on how they can help.
Anyone concerned about safety of their animals, they can reach out to the @rspcansw Safe Beds for Pets program https://www.rspcansw.org.au/what-we-do/working-in-communities/community-domestic-violence-program/
If you ever have concerns about abuse or violence to yourself or an animal, the Domestic Violence Liaison Officers are there to help, go to http://www.domesticviolence.nsw.gov.au/get-help/police
Good things happen to those that wait. There were two squirrels in the yard, and a bag of open treats in front of me... what did I choose?? #TakingGuesses 🤔
This month from @chewy we got a bag of Superfood Blend berry dog treats from @zukespets. We loved how bite-sized they were, and that they are full of antioxidants and superfood ingredients. We are always in love with Zuke's treats, but Bentley didn't always take to this flavor. Sometimes he liked them, sometimes he didn't... he definitely prefers their meat flavored treats. But what can I say, they aren't called "picky poodles" for nothing 🙈
I received this item free of charge in exchange for an honest review #ChewyInfluencer
