I got to lose 4 pounds by next Thursday but I’ll take more. I have a goal to meet and I’m hoping to get there. Monday I weigh-in @ the nutrition place then wensday is weigh in day for WW & Thursday is weighing for my DietBet. I’m going to push myself to get to this goal and past it.

⚠️Truth is:: I love that quote. I have been struggling lately on how to deal with my emotions. Something I don't like to talk about. You can ask people around me. I have been so moody, argumentative, and emotional over anything.
Some of you know, many of you don't, but I watched a fatal motorcycle accident happen in front of me in April 2017. I believe I had a trigger episode about 3 weeks ago that intensified all those emotions, even to the point where I didn't want to do a damn thing & I was argumentative daily with my husband. Nobody can live like that, it's not fun. And after gaining 10lbs back and being up to almost 200lbs AGAIN... I TOLD myself this past weekend, I NEED TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER AGAIN, if I made it through the couple weeks after the accident, day by day, I know damn well I can do it now"
So starting to make it to the gym again, something about me, my music and the gym that helps me take my frustrations out on my workouts. What's interesting about life is knowing what we want but not having the ability to get it or achieve it. For years I wanted to lose weight. I wanted to be thinner and I wanted to look like the "other girls." But for years I was incapable of achieving that. It was like I was my own enemy because I essentially did everything opposite of helping me to lose weight. I find it interesting that when I really want something or have a vision for something or a goal, it's so easy for me to go against what it is I want. It's easy to get side tracked, forget my goal, waste time, and procrastinate. I have intentions of working towards my goal, but then it doesn't happen and I have this huge amount of resistance towards it. And what I've also learned, is that, the more resistance you have towards something, the more you should actually be doing it. It's often the things that we resist the most, that we should be walking straight into. I know that a huge amount of the resistance is fear based. Fear of numerous things. And it's difficult working against your fear. But I know from experience that it's better to not let your fear over take you, and to basically pierce right though the fear and go against everything that is that fear.
