Believe it or not, I was bullied (mostly from my family) for my weight for being a twig. No matter how much I ate, my metabolism was ahead of me as nature as it could be. I would eat so much that I would become bloated and threw up because my stomach couldn't handle it. This is me, Sophomore year right when I just started wushu and weighed 89lbs. Three years later, this is me currently at 119~120lbs. As you can see, there's a major difference. I did this for myself and I thank everyone who was supportive. 🙌Anyway, my next goal will be 130lbs and I can't wait☺️

☔️💦Super wet, dreary day today🌧 It's that time of year that I must make it even more of a priority to get to the gym🏋🏼♀️Seasonal Affective Disorder hits me right about now but thankfully I have learned how to manage it and for me, the gym is number ☝🏼....those endorphins are so powerful!!!💥 I also double my vitamin D supplement💊use a happy light💡drink more coffee ☕️ and make plans to get in some warm sunshine sometime in the next few months☀️
Even though I know I need the gym now more than ever, it's a fact that it is harder to get my butt there and harder to have an amazing workout. May 2016 - October 2016. By May, I had been following a loose exercise regime for 4 months, I was bored and uninspired. While I was losing size overall, my shape wasn’t changing much and not in the way I wanted. I was eating high fat and high protein in an attempt to cut out carbs and lose as much weight as quickly as possible. This was viable in the sense that the number on the scale went down rapidly and I was in a high. I was doing my workouts fasted with no direction, nor energy to steer a training plan. The difference in the two pictures is 300-500 calories more in a daily intake mostly from carbs and protein. I stress the importance of flexible macros in a healthy sustained weight loss program because your body is undergoing massive changes and that in itself is taxing. If you feel off, experiment to find what feels right and keep track of what works and what doesn’t! Carbs and food are fuel for your body and losing weight doesn’t have to be an exercise in punishing yourself and restricting. Focus on the way you feel, work from the inside out.

Today in a picture! It was my youngest brothers 18th so we had a little party and only just getting to sleep. Tomorrow my love and I, my parents and my cousin are off to Devon for 2 nights! I’m so excited!! But I’m ordering dominos for tomorrow for my hungover little bro 👍🏼😬💁🏻
