On cheating during Whole30 and why I'm not starting over.
I've spent the better part of this round of whole30 either skipping meals 🙅🏼, or going completely off book and throwing a couple of margaritas🍹 into the mix. For reasons unknown my head is not in the game this time. Maybe 🤷🏼♀️it's because I'm doing it too soon after my last round, maybe life feels totally chaotic, maybe it's the 90 degree ☄️weather, or MAYBE I just want some damn rice and beans!
Whole30 is incredible 🙌🏼, and I've loved it in the past. I loved the structure and intensity 🏋🏼♀️ of following it closely. It gave me drive to stick with it, but in this season 🌤it's not the case. As someone who has absolutely, for many years struggled to have a healthy 🤦🏼♀️relationship with food - I am battling to find a way of life that gives me balance. That re-orients my relationship ⚡️with food, that gives me a sustainable routine and thought pattern. (For me, in July) THIS is not 🙅🏼that. I was unprepared, I was disorganized, and I wasn't ready to go all in. Because of this, the guidelines felt only like restrictions ⛓, and rather than this being a gift to my body it was feeling a lot like punishment👊🏼. I was no longer creating a healthy ⭐️balanced life style, I was endlessly hungry and annoyed 🙇🏼♀️, writing down a list of all the things I would eat 🥖🥞🌭🍟🍩🍿🍦once the torture was over.
So today I'm calling whole30 quits 👋🏼, and creating a plan that works for me. A plan that's focused on what I see working for long term growth💪🏼 and sustainability. Maybe paleo 🥓🍗🍠will even play a large role in it, but for now I want to eat a slice of bread 🥖and it not feel like it's dripping in failure😓. Setting myself free 🕊ova here.
Here ☝🏼 is one of my more ideal cheat ✖️meals from this past week. Not pictured above: multiple glasses of wine 🍷, a burger 🍔, some pasta🍝, a cheese tray🧀, and several mezcal drinks🍹 👍🏼
Ok so here it is... the first photo is before having my son... I was around 150lbs... middle picture is a few days post partum at 224lbs 😱.. and the last picture is pretty much current.. was taken a few weeks ago on my birthday (june23).. my son is now two years old... The goal is to get as close to the first picture as possible but with more self love and happiness physically and mentally... I have struggles with anxiety and depression pretty much all my life, which sucks because I tend to eat when I'm down... it makes me feel really tired and fatigued most of the time.. I have tried eating "healthy" and going to the gym a few times a week but it wasn't long before depression pulled me right back down. This happened multiple times! I have created this instagram in hopes to track my progress, keep myself motivated and get advice from others who have struggled with the same problems... I'm ready to take my life back , get healthy, happy and fit PERMANENTLY.
Day off with this sweet girl! Started the morning with a walk while listening to a podcast by myself followed by a bike ride to the post office with this cutie. It's going to be a great Thursday! Enjoy it, friends!
I didn't realize how much I have changed until I compared these pictures. The one on the right was right when we moved up here around a week and a half ago. I wasn't eating quite like I should, and wasn't working out as much due to trying to get somewhat settled in a new city. The one on the left was this morning. I have dialed my nutrition back in, good supplements, and I'm doing some very intense workouts again! It's crazy how huge of a difference there is just by making small changes and working hard! Now to make sure I don't lose so much that my wedding dress doesn't fit!🙈
Fazendo esse repost explicando exatamente o qual a diferença da profissão , já que alguns pacientes sempre pergunta qual é a diferença!

Bom dia, ☀️cabras e cabritas! 🐐🐐
