This is a currant photo of myself.... which i am now labelling as my "before shot" .which only mean I absolutely can not wait to see what "After" will be.
I am proud of myself for getting this far and i defiantly can not wait for the future i am now back to what i was before i had my kids - Annalise & Conner and i am also amazed at what my body can do....all the tired, aching and pain i have gone through is worth this!

Last night I had a go at @slimmingpats delicious Chinese beef in black bean sauce. Unfortunately I've had a touch of food poisoning from Indonesia so I can't try it yet but reports from last night's tasters are that it's rather good! As you may have seen all over Facebook people are starting to post how long it is until Christmas Day arrives. -
You guessed it.....13 weeks. -
So I have decided to give you a weight loss tip (once a week) up until the day itself. -
That's 13 weight loss tips to help get you in great shape before the Christmas binge! -
So today is the first and most important tip: -
MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN A CALORIE DEFICIT!!! -
For weight loss to happen you need to be in a calorie deficit. This means taking in fewer calories or energy (food, drink etc) than you are expending (exercise, activity etc). -
This is the most important and vital factor for weight loss. -
This is why so many people encourage tracking. To ensure you can stay in a deficit. -
If you don't like tracking don't worry. It isn't completely necessary, however it makes things a lot easier. -
You can sometimes use hunger levels as an indicator or go off how your body is responding to your current food intake and energy output. -
But make sure you're in a calorie defect! -

You don’t eat clean bro? What does clean eating even mean anyways!?⠀
There’s an emphasis with people that if you’re not cutting out all the good stuff (Nutella or doughnuts etc) that you’re not working toward your goal. It’s nonsense.⠀
Salads don’t make you jacked, sweets don’t make you fat. Excessive, consistent over eating of food will make you gain weight. Consistent eating at a calorie deficit will make you lose weight. It’s calories in vs calories out.⠀
Learn moderation, learn balance. Enjoy your foods. Enjoy your life. Don’t punish yourself for enjoying something every now and again. Don’t subject yourself to eating boring low calorie food all the time. It might take some work and discipline but you can find a sweet spot between the foods you love and reaching your goals!

New 1RM Squat PR for me yesterday 🙌🏼 i never go past a 100kg squat if it's not in a monolift so a PR in a walk-out squat is a big achievement for me☝🏼 that 110kg squat (@80kg BW) was smooth AF but that 117.5kg im very iffy about, it was an absolute grinder but not to worry ill be back for that bitch soon #staytuned
Often times I believed that to be a good person I had to make sure I did what others wanted. I was a "yes" person.
The truth is, it builds up resentment and causes us to suppress our needs.
You can say no with love and kindness and still keep a strong connection with the person.
These bounds are critical to have healthy relationships where we can honor ourselves.
Start practicing slowly... write out a scenario that you feel you couldn't say no and see how you could shift it to honor yourself (in a loving kind way).
PB. Dark Chocolate. Sea Salt. @rawrev Glo Bar over ABC Mousse.. Although a bit oily when you open, this bar was Deeeeelicious. Flavor was so on point- super peanutbuttery. Like you can actually taste the real ness- no bs fillers or artificial anything. Texture was perfect too- soft and chewy with little crunchy chia seeds. It also held pockets of dark chocolate that burst in your mouth. Yassss. Mouthgasm. Amazing. I’m a fan. Have you tried @rawrev glo bars yet?
Tagchen zusammen. 😊 Na wie geht es Euch? Bei mir ist alles tutti. 👍🏻 Waren gestern beim Wok Warmelink in Winterswijk zum Buffet essen. Habe schon auch zugegriffen. Diesmal aber mit bedacht. Morgen ist ja wiegen angesagt. 😅😉 Ich war die ganze Woche gut im Plan. Immer einen grünen ✅. Nur Freitag habe ich meine Bewegungskalorien von 700kcal mit gegessen und der Haken war gelb. An den anderen Tagen habe ich es nicht gemacht.
War schon schwierig diese Woche vielem zu widerstehen.
Einen Abend konnte ich nicht direkt einschlafen, da ich noch etwas "Hunger" hatte. (Wusste genau es ist kein Hunger sondern Appetit) Günter mein innerer 🐽🐶 wusste genau es sind noch Chips da. 😇
Bin zur Schublade gelaufen & hatte mich schon gefreut. Dann habe ich gedacht, neeeee Du willst doch Mittwoch abgenommen haben...
Bin dann wieder ins Bett gestiefelt mit einer Flasche Wasser & war stolz. 😁
Jetzt gerade habe ich mir ein leckeres Brot gemacht. Sind gleich bei der Schwiegermutter in Spe zum Mittagessen da. Es gibt Spaghetti Bolognese.
Frühstück viel sehr klein aus mit nur 243kcal und ich hatte Hunger. Also noch schnell etwas zum Füllen her.
Eine Scheibe Harry Korn an Korn mit Cherrytomaten & 50gr. Büffelmozzarella für 266kcal. Darauf sind noch ein paar Tropfen #acetobalsamicotradizionaledimodena von #trattorialavialla .
Esse dann gleich nur noch eine kleine Portion Spaghetti Bolognese. 😉

Last night it was crossfit... it was hard at the time because we worked a lot the arms but otherwise it was great as usual! I go back Thursday and why not a session Friday 👀 like that kid can come with me! He loves 😁 good day working call me!

Do men and women really require different types of protein powder supplements?
You’d think this would be common sense. Protein is just protein, right? However, I’ve been surprised at how many questions I’ve been getting recently from my female friends and clients asking me what type of protein is best for a woman. So let’s set this myth straight, shall we.
There seems to be an emerging trend of supplements being marketed specifically towards women. Case in point this Her Whey protein. It claims to promote lean muscle growth, enhance recovery, curb appetite, stabilize blood sugar, and reduce cravings. Talk about marketing at its finest. 🙄 Why? Because those are the benefits of consuming any type of protein, whether it comes from a protein shake or a chicken breast.
If you compare the women’s version to the protein on the right, which isn’t necessarily marketed only to men, but does use muscular male models in it’s advertising, you’ll see they are very similar. Both are simply whey isolates with some additional glutamine. The only difference is the “women’s” protein has an added vitamin/mineral complex and some fiber. Sure those things are beneficial, but one could just as easily get that from taking a multivitamin or eating some fruits and vegetables.
The truth is, women can supplement with the very same protein powder as a man. Doing so will not cause them to develop overly large muscles or look any less feminine, rather it will help them improve the look of of their physique . Consuming adequate protein supports the growth or maintenance of muscle, which is necessary for appearing lean and toned so long as body fat levels are in check.
This isn't to say you shouldn't use a protein marketed to women if you enjoy it. Just don’t be fooled into thinking it has some magical properties that will give you better results than a more standard brand. .

Last set of 5x3 145kg deadlift, felt pretty exhausted at this point, currently enjoying a much needed deload. If you never deload you will definitely not maximize your training results. From a scientific standpoint there is consensus on the benefits of deloading.
Just a wee thought for those not seeing the results on the scales that you hoped for recently....
For the past few weeks, I've been getting advice on counting macros and #caloriecounting from @munro_fitness
I've been eating 1600 or less cals, hitting protein and fibre intake goals and weighing myself every day. This was something totally outwith my comfort zone but something that's shown me how much those numbers can change - and I have no control over it...nor does it reflect anything I've done !
This morning the scales show me 4lbs heavier than the lowest weight I was last week.
4 lbs!! 😲😭
Now...I haven't done anything any different.
My calorie intake was 1420 on Sunday and 1573 yesterday & I've hit #macros each time.
I now know that I cannot put that much fat on overnight so this is probably based on water, being bloated, something I ate yesterday or a difference in my toilet habits (tmi 🙈) it is NOT a true reflection of what I weigh and is NOT because I didn't try hard enough or did something wrong!
I'll be honest, when I saw the number I'd hoped not to see again, I was gutted - I'm still learning this all but instead of letting that dictate my mood for the day and potentially cause me to say f** it and eat junk, I've really tried to think about the fact that this won't all be a huge fat gain!
Ive waffled on here but the point i was trying to make was just this....
Please remember that sometimes the scales are idiots 😂
