Tonight I attempted my first Chinese fakeaway which I thought was pretty good. Definitely tasted home made but still an enjoyable dinner which was quick and super easy to make! I won't be rushing to make it again because if I'm honest, it was nice but not worth the 4 syns for the curry sauce. I can think of a few things I'd rather spend my syns on lol 😂 🍰 🍫 🍬 🍿 🍦 🥞 🧀 🥖

🔥How to Decide what Size Weight to Use🔥

🏋️‍♀️As a coach who writes programs for my clients, I can take an educated guess at what weight someone should use for a certain exercise. Yet, when it comes down it, a few sets of trail and error are always needed to decide what size weight to use .
.
💻This gets a bit harder when working with online coaching clients, or let's say, some of you out there who carry out a program you found on the internet. As the coach is not physically there it's up to you to decide. This can be difficult if you're a relatively young training age (how long you've been training for). So how do you decide?
.
.
1️⃣Rep ranges will be the first variable to look at. An 8-12 rep range would require a weight that you could do between 8-12 reps. If you can only do 5 reps, the weight is too heavy. If you can easily do 15 reps, the weight is too light .
.
2️⃣More often or not there should be a drop off of reps as sets increase. For example, set 1 you may do 12 reps, set 2 you do 11 reps and set 3 you do 9 reps. If you complete 3 sets of 12 it's time to increase the weight next week. It won't work out like this every time but it's a good general rule to follow

3️⃣As you get more experienced you will find it easier to increase to decrease weights accordingly. Remember, it should always be challenging, but make sure you're feeling the correct muscles working, especially with hypertrophy .

Gestern Nacht habe ich schon ein bisschen experimentiert. Leider ist der erste Versuch gescheitert und in der Tonne gelandet 😂 
Nun sind die Küchlein mit Creme Füllung nahezu perfekt geworden 🤗 
Meine Eltern kommen gleich zu Besuch. Denen werde ich die Dinger vorsetzen. 
Rezept für 4 Kuchen mit Füllung

240g Mehl (23SP)
60g Whey (Vanille) oder einfach mehr Mehl nehmen (7 SP)
4-5 Eier
X(Z)ucker nach Bedarf oder Gefühl ;)
Halbe Packung Backpulver
Etwas Milch (1SP)

Alles zusammenrühren und in kleine Springformen geben. (Meine sind 12cm)

Ein paar Himbeeren o.ä. in den Teig stecken und 40min bei 160 Grad backen. 
Danach kurz abkühlen lassen.  Der Teig geht beim Backen etwas auf. Einfach oben vorsichtig eine gerade Fläche und ein Loch in die Mitte schneiden. 
Als Füllung habe ich Dr.Oetker Paradies Creme genommen. 
Da hat eine Packung 4SP. Je nachdem was für Milch ihr nehmt kommen die Punkte noch dazu. 
Ich nehme 1,5% Milch. 300ml haben da 6SP. 
Das heißt 4 Küchlein haben haben 40SP

Lunch and PM snacks today at work today! There was a party at work today with pizza, wings, ice cream cake, and cake. But I suck to my prepped lunch and honestly wasn’t sad at all. I didn’t feel deprived or like I was “missing out”. All this food equals out to 11 NC and that makes for a total of 13 NC for the day. 💕 Also picked up black bean pasta for a treat tomorrow now, along with dark chocolate almond butter cups and Paleonola Chocolate Fix fake-nola 😍. #ketolunch #ketosnack #ketogenicfood #jerf #paleo

Well...what an experience that was 😂! @tom_bain87  actually said "that was the best pasta dish you have ever made" 😁! So simple, so delicious....😍! I used the carbonara recipe on the SW website but substituted the chives for onions and fromage frais for natural FF yoghurt.I also added in some chicken for extra protein 🐔 .

💥4 Ways to Train Your Shoulders💥

🏋️‍♀️Let's have a look at shoulder training, shall we? The shoulder as a joint is pretty complicated and it allows us to move it in different directions, angles and planes of movement. This is why I set up my online coaching clients workouts to reflect this. If you saw my intro to muscle groups post a few weeks back (if not go have a look) we are focusing here on the deltoid (lateral, medial and rear) muscles 💪 .

1️⃣Overhead presses are brilliant as there are so many ways to do them and it's pretty badass lifting heavy stuff above your head!
.
.
2️⃣Multi angle raises challenge the shoulders in different movement planes and directions. The weights used will often be very light
.
.
3️⃣Upright rows done properly are a fantastic exercise for shoulder growth. Make sure you do them properly and hit the delts instead of turning it into a shrug and hitting the upper traps
.
.
4️⃣Neglect the rear delts and your missing out on shoulder growth, symmetry and overall shoulder and posture health. Again the weights will be light to moderate and you can go high on the reps and hit these 2-3 times a week .
.

💥4 Ways to Train Your Shoulders💥 . . 🏋️‍♀️Let's have a look at shoulder training, shall we? The shoulder as a joint is pretty complicated and it allows us to move it in different directions, angles and planes of movement. This is why I set up my online coaching clients workouts to reflect this. If you saw my intro to muscle groups post a few weeks back (if not go have a look) we are focusing here on the deltoid (lateral, medial and rear) muscles 💪 . . 1️⃣Overhead presses are brilliant as there are so many ways to do them and it's pretty badass lifting heavy stuff above your head! . . 2️⃣Multi angle raises challenge the shoulders in different movement planes and directions. The weights used will often be very light . . 3️⃣Upright rows done properly are a fantastic exercise for shoulder growth. Make sure you do them properly and hit the delts instead of turning it into a shrug and hitting the upper traps . . 4️⃣Neglect the rear delts and your missing out on shoulder growth, symmetry and overall shoulder and posture health. Again the weights will be light to moderate and you can go high on the reps and hit these 2-3 times a week . . 🤖There are many more shoulder exercises other than the ones listed. One of Bubbles favourite pastimes is taking his buddy Jack for a walk 😍
I was asked today "when will I be happy with my weight and stop". I was confused with the question and it took me a moment to find my answer. The truth is I'm happy now! I'm still 6kg from my goal but I'm more then happy. You see the "goal" weight I picked was just a random number I plucked out of the air. My main goal was to feel better and to be able to play with my little girl better and I've fucking smashed that goal 🙌 This is a lifestyle change! I love the gym and I will continue to go, I love the way I eat and how it makes my body feel so I will continue to eat clean,  but still allow myself that big bowl of pasta or chocolate bar when I feel I really need it! I've set myself up so I can follow this for life, I've learnt to listen to my body and fuel it and rest it when it requires. My body will decided when it's at the weight it wants to be and I in the mean time will just keep on trucking on, doing what makes me feel alive and happy. So in summary there is no end date, there is no stop button, my body might decide my weight is perfect here or it might decide on dropping another 10kgs. Don't get wrapped up in the numbers, do it for the way it makes you feel. I feel strong and I feel alive and I won't "stop" living the best way I can x

Soo...today was first day back at college since beginning SW because I wasn't well last week. I've been so bogged down with college work 📚 this week I've not been shopping so had nothing in to prepare a packed lunch 🥗. Wasn't looking forward to trying to find something in the college cafeteria but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they don't cook with oil and all their meat is extra lean 🙌 result!! Even though I still plan on taking my own lunches, it takes the pressure off a bit 😊.

Ich wollte am Montag ein #motivationmonday Bild machen. Dann am Dienstag ein #transformationtuesday Bild. 
Nun ist schon Donnerstag und ich habe es endlich geschafft mal wieder ein Foto zu machen 😋  Dann ist es eben ein #throwbackthursday Bild ;) Die oberen sind von Anfang Juni 2017 mit 160kg drauf.  Ich war unbeweglich und hab reingestopft ohne nachzudenken. 
Die unteren sind von gestern Abend. 
Etwas unter 125kg. 
Ein paar Kilos werden in den kommenden Monaten noch weichen.  Ziel ist es außerdem ganz klar Muskeln aufzubauen um eine ansehnlichere Form zu bekommen.

So I been off/on for awhile now but I will never ever give up. Even if I have to start over 9000+ times! Weight is not my biggest priority these days, my health and happiness is. I want to feel good! But to get there theres always some work to put into it. So for me to start feeling more healthy and refreshed I made myswlf a startup workout to do at home untill I will jump in whit both feet and start working out at a gym next month. My back is cramping so badly these days also, so I do feel like a workout now and then at home will do me SO good ❤️✨ I’m very excited to start over, also a bit scared to be honest.. But I’m doing my best, and will never give up. 🤷‍♀️😁

🏋️‍♀️The other day I put up an example of how to split your training week depending on how many times you train. For the 5 day a week split, I suggested a push/pull twice, plus a circuit. There were a fair few of you confused by what push/pull meant, so in this infographic, I’ve explained just that 😀

🏋️‍♀️The pushing muscles are the ones responsible for pushing exercises (sounds obvious, I know). These muscle groups are the chest, shoulders (lateral and medial delts, not rear), triceps quads and abs. Example pushing exercises are; squats, lunges, any chest pressing, shoulder presses, tricep exercises etc.

🏋️‍♀️The pulling muscles are the ones responsible for, yep you guessed it, pulling exercises. These muscles groups are all the back muscles, rear delts (back of shoulders), traps, hamstrings, glutes and biceps (and forearms). Example pulling exercises are; deadlift/RDL variations, rowing variations, hip thrusts, shrugs, face pulls and bicep curls

🏋️‍♀️The idea of training a push pull split, is that you’re able to train multiple days in a row without training the same muscle groups twice. Train push one day, as they are fatigued the next day, you can train pull, and so on
