It's been such a busy day and I just finished working out!
Got to spend the whole day by myself, which I used to think was pathetic, but honestly, I'm appreciating more and more. I mean, how often do you actually have that much-needed "me time?" We're constantly surrounded by co-workers during the week, friends on the weekends, and family in general. Not that it's a bad thing, but sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves, and I certainly know that as an introvert, I feel infinitely better when I make the effort to just be by myself to reflect on the week, running errands, or just tidying up the apartment.
But with that being said, there has to be a fine balance...so now I'm heading over for a girls night in / movie night with my bestie. ❤️
Yesterday I finished my workout with banded lateral walks. This workout can help strengthen our glutes, hips, & thighs. It’s a simple move that packs some pretty awesome results. Can be incorporated to any workout routine that is planned for that day as a finisher or to do in between other exercises planned. 👌🏻
