Here’s the thing about missing workouts. Just like one salad doesn’t make you skinny 🥗 & one doughnut doesn’t make you fat 🍩 , missing one (or a few) workouts is NOT going to derail your progress ❌

In fact, if you’ve been working out consistently for months on end, taking a break might actually be beneficial for your body!

Remember, everything with fitness and losing weight is about being consistent 🔄 — not perfect. If you miss a workout because of a life event or other things out of your control, don’t sweat it.

😋Alright my peopz, as I’ve been getting more and more messages from people who are trying to figure out why they’re not losing weight, I’ve been seeing a few common things in people who ask this question, so I bet there are MILLIONS of people out there who can benefit from this post, let’s make sure each and everyone sees this post ;)

😉You’re not being honest with yourself. Seriously man, I see so many people just sabotaging themselves out of losing weight. “Oh I can have this” “Oh I can have that too” and suddenly, you’ve added 2 lbs instead of losing 4. I wonder what happened though… My buddy @cartergood made an incredibly good video about this today so make sure to check that one out!

😉Or you think you’re eating less than you actually do… So many people are trying to intuitively eat because they see their favorite instagram influencer eating intuitively. Yes, this person has 5-10-15 years of experience with fitness, training and nutrition. You don’t have this experience. Don’t try to eat intuitively if you’re not able to do so. Be honest with yourself. Do you have the nutrition knowledge to pull that off? If not, stick to tracking your stuff :)

😉Or, YOU DON’T HAVE A SOLID PLAN. Literally every post I’m making the last few post has this ingredient in it. Because it’s just so DAMN important. SOOOOOOOO many people just wander around in the gym and in their nutrition that they get stuck in the woods. Get yourself a plan. Trust it, and execute on it. I’ll help you with it, just reach out to me in the DM!!

😉OR you’re not training goal focussed! So many people are trying to lose fat and are just doing endless cardio. Just pouring on cardio on cardio on cardio everyday won’t make you lose more fat. You need to do some weighted training as well if you’re damn serious about losing weight. Whether you want to believe or not, you’re gonna do it ;)

💪Yesterday we talked about motivation, but with just motivation, you’re not getting there. I’m serious. You need to make fitness a habit of yours. Let’s talk about 6 mindset shifts that you NEED to implement in your life in order to make fitness a habit!

🌈Start viewing exercise as something fun! If you don’t enjoy your training you’re not going to make this into habit. So I urge you to find something in your training that you actually love. Don’t say I HATE exercising, come on, you know better than that :)

📝PLEASE, start scheduling your training sessions! If you have a free hour. USE IT, don’t just sit on your ass and waste it, use it and get your sessions in! Plan them and you’ll find yourself suddenly adhering to your training a LOT more than you thought you could do!

🕐Oh, you don’t have time to go to the gym? Tough love, you create the time. Get more productive during the day so you create an hour at the end of the day to GO. Don’t know how to create time?! Hit me up on the DM! I’d love to help you!!

🍛Prepare your food and make sure you eat foods you enjoy. Because it’s okay to eat foods you enjoy! I’m not saying you can eat 10 pizzas everyday. But come on, you know you won’t gain fat from one piece of pizza :)

😴Give yourself ENOUGH sleep!!! You know how important sleep is, please don’t be like me. Please give yourself the sleep you need. I should listen to my own advice though..

😕AND FORGIVE YOURSELF when you screw up. Eventually you’ll mess up. But you’re also ONE decision away from getting back on track. I truly believe in you. Now it’s up to you to make it happen!!

🙄A lot of people think they have the “perfect” training plan, or the “most optimal” training plan. Yet they end up sore all the time, or they HATE their training, BUT BRO, I HAVE THE MOST OPTIMAL TRAINING PLAN. Yeah sure, that’s why you hate your training and all you do is complain? Sure it’s optimal.

Or you don’t train every muscle group 2x a week, if you’re not doing this already, go start and do it because you NEED to do this if you’re serious about getting to the gym :)

Or people don’t trust their plan, the amount of mental energy people expend because they don’t trust their plan is immense. The amount of messages I get everyday from people who don’t trust their plan is way too high. People shouldn’t live that way, that’s a way of living that I wish to NOBODY. Nobody should live in doubt because they don’t know whether they’ll achieve their goals. Get yourself a plan to trust. HOW?! Get on a call with me and let’s figure it out for you! 👉First off, I want you to start your AND end your day with writing down your goals, don’t put in a note on your phone. PHYSICALLY write them down. As if you’ve already achieved them, if you want to lose 50 lbs, write down, I’ve lost 50 lbs and weigh X lbs right now. Do this, you’ll stay motivated!! Do it EVERY DAY though, not once every week, EVERY DAY.

👉Set a routine, and FOLLOW IT seriously, if you don’t have a routine, you better get one. Pick some things you want to do EVERY DAY. And do them, don’t skip it. Do it every day.

👉Visualize your BRIGHT future, if you don’t have a flippin’ bright future, you won’t be motivated. Make sure you have something to look forward in the future, this is the biggest thing I focus on in my business right now FYI.

👉Have a plan that YOU TRUST. My god so many people wander in the gym without actually having an idea what in the world they’re doing. That’s why you’re not motivated. THAT’S WHY. GET YOURSELF A PLAN. How?! Send me a DM, we’ll figure it out together!

👉Use the POWER of audio. MY GOD has audio changed my life. Seriously, listening to people like @garyvee @tombilyeu @therealbradlea @grantcardone @boldceo and MANY MORE people has literally CHANGED MY LIFE. I want this for you as well. Give it a shot baby!

👉And always, always, always keep in mind doing something. Is always better than sitting around on the couch not doing shit. Keep your ass going, and get don’t ever stop!!! Because this stuff takes time. A LOOOONG TIME. Accept it, and move on.
