We put two foods in a head-to-head competition to see if you can spot the meal or snack that is higher in calories. #caloriechat 💥The results will surprise you.💥
Answer: A sushi roll
1 slice cheese pizza: less than 250 calories
Basic 8-piece sushi roll: 300 calories
🍣Sushi is often touted as low-calorie dinner option. A lesser-known fact is that a typical sushi roll contains nearly one cup of white rice totaling around 170 calories, and contains very little protein.
Toppings like spicy mayonnaise or tempura flakes pack on extra calories. A basic eight-piece sushi roll can set you back around 300 calories. One slice of cheese pizza, or about one-eighth of a 12-inch pie, is typically under 250 calories.

I LOVE❤ when I wake up to a new workout added to my online library at no extra cost!👊 Today Lift & HIIT was added. It's under 20 minutes that is a great combo of cardio & strength. Just what this mama needed this Monday morning!😅
So as of late I've been getting asked what motivates me? Truth is I got tired of the yo-yo diets and feeling uncomfortable in anything I put on. Like what really made me get started in the first place. The picture on the left was a few months after getting out of the Navy before baby #2 . Now I've always been up and down with my weight mainly because I went through phases of trying weight loss tricks. I tried to skip the actual process of proper eating habits, drinking water, cardio and weightlifting. I focused on cardio that was it. I would do things like completely cut out carbs and barely ate anything at some points. Picture on the left was at the end of prep. Seeing the difference in the two is my motivation. I was one who would always talk about it yet my results would always fall flat. I don't deprive myself of the things I love to eat Donuts being one lol but I also know that there has to be balance. Not eating and or eating like crap and working out will only produce minimal results. Do it for yourself because looking at other people's before and after gets old 💁🏽 •
Building a business that works when I don’t is key to having the life that we want. I’ve done the 9-5 (its never 9-5 though, right!) working for a corporate beast, and I’ve done the 24/7 of building a business to sell. Both required me to put the business before my family, and to spend most of my waking-week working.
NO MORE!! Last year I decided enough was enough and after countless sleepless nights, a million “but, what if…” and general panic about how we’d pay the bills, I did it. I told my partners I wanted out and we sold the majority holding in our business.
Freedom! Scary, Scary, Freedom!! Errr… now what?
So the research began in earnest and the boxes it had to tick were tough: * Based at home with minimal travel to see clients
* Residual income - not time for money
* Works when I’m on holiday without me working on holiday
* No interruptions to family time
* Something I actually care about and that is truly helpful to other people
So here it is; I now work for a US nutrition company who just launched here, helping to build their UK team and rediscovering my passion for life.
I’d always struggled with my weight and energy (too easily distracted by cake when working silly hours and needing a sugar hit). I wanted to be healthier and have more energy to run around with the kids, dogs, hubby, and friends. Let’s face it - fitting modern life in 7 days is a challenge!
Now, just a few months in, I’m nearly a stone lighter, my skin is clearer, and my income is steadily growing. I’m working just a few hours per day and spend my time chatting to people about the opportunity open to them, as well as the products.
This isn’t a ‘get rich quick’ or ‘loose weight fast’ plan. This is a lifestyle changer based around nutritional support for your body. If your body has what it needs, it operates better in every way.
Want to know more? I’m happy to show you what its all about.
💥#motivationmonday Facebook decided to remind me that 6 years ago I looked like the stay puffed marshmallow man! Well not anymore!!!!💥 it's not about being on a strict diet or working out every single day. It's all about finding that balance! you can be healthy and still treat yourself, you can still be in shape and give yourself a rest day. Find your balance and reach your goals. Limits have zero power unless you believe in them! #skiesneverthelimits#nlyf#fitfamilia#transformation
