Although I was diagnosed in 2015 but only found out years later due to a mistake that sent me letter to the wrong address. 
F60.31 Emotionally unstable personality disorder; borderline type
I know it's not some magical cure but after years and years of not knowing and being told different things by different professionals finally having a diagnosis feels really good for me. 
I'm excited and enjoying looking into it and researching and finally feel like i have a clearer sense of self and hoping this will make my recovery journey a little easier. ❤️💛💚💙💜💗
I like to think rather than a label on my head my diagnosis is like the little label that's on an inner seam of clothes.
Maybe down on the side of my leg or my ankle. 
When you take the time to get to know something or someone, if you look into it and to try and understand things then these labels can only help us care for ourselves and our things better.

MY BIGGEST TOP TIP 💦:
Drink at least 3 litres of water per day! Water has SO many benefits! Just to name a few:
💧Keeps you hydrated
💧Promotes weightloss
💧Flushes our toxins 💧Natural remedy for headaches
💧Increases energy .
This bottle is 850ml! I try to drink 3 of these per day as I drink a lot of green/peppermint tea too which adds to my daily liquid intake! I find it’s easiest to buy a bigger (or medium, not huge) sized bottle because it makes it easier for me to keep track of! I also find that if I’m ever feeling hungry when I shouldn’t be, usually I just need to drink some water - little bit dehydrated! Not to mention drinking at least half a litre when I wake up in the morning, hydrating my body after 8 hours of no fluids at all!

MY BIGGEST TOP TIP 💦: Drink at least 3 litres of water per day! Water has SO many benefits! Just to name a few: 💧Keeps you hydrated 💧Promotes weightloss 💧Flushes our toxins 💧Natural remedy for headaches 💧Increases energy . This bottle is 850ml! I try to drink 3 of these per day as I drink a lot of green/peppermint tea too which adds to my daily liquid intake! I find it’s easiest to buy a bigger (or medium, not huge) sized bottle because it makes it easier for me to keep track of! I also find that if I’m ever feeling hungry when I shouldn’t be, usually I just need to drink some water - little bit dehydrated! Not to mention drinking at least half a litre when I wake up in the morning, hydrating my body after 8 hours of no fluids at all! . My best friend & I were both headed on the same path with our drug addictions before I found Yoga. She is not alive today. If I had not discovered Yoga I believe my story may have ended like hers. YOGA SAVED ME

I believe there's NO better way to retrain an addict mind than to have them practice Hot Yoga. It sped up my recovery: from detoxing my body to helping me cope with anxiety & depression & also regulating my sleep patterns. I found a new reason to be excited about life

I gained a new set of  coping skills to replace the destructive ones! Yoga gave me the strength to walk away from anything that no longer served me
.
. 
My passion is to share this life changing practice with all who will allow me. I am currently trying to get a Yoga program started in the Arizona Department of Corrections to help the addicts who are suffering inside the prison walls. Heroin is very prevalent inside of Arizona prisons & the inmates who are mostly addicts are forced to live with the same drug that caused them to be locked up in the first place! .

My fiancé & my oldest son are both addicts who are currently incarcerated & suffering from addiction with no help. .

I believe thousands can be spared the pain and suffering that is caused from addiction followed by incarceration if the inmates are given proper skills and tools like Yoga and meditation

 When I accomplish this I will see to it that we have Yoga and Meditation in every prison across the U.S. With the practice of Yoga, Love & passion we are able to do great things in a small amount of time! Look at this drawing – a bilby (small, furry Australian marsupial) is about to be blamed for the bath overflowing. But it’s not really the bilby’s fault. Lurking in the bath are some very big animals (DIMs). Sometimes in life, we blame the small, or most recent concerns/problems/DIMs for pain without recognising the bigger picture – DIMs (even big ones) can hide in hard to find places. Another way of thinking about it might be blaming the last glass of wine for your headache the next day. Your ‘bilbies’ could be hearing certain words, fearing certain movement, or even a worrisome thought. Ponder this – sometimes when you think ‘have I got a headache?’, just this thought could be enough to tip you into a headache state. Identifying the difference between bilbies and alligators is an important part of recovery. You might not need to worry about every bilby but the DIMs in the bath need your attention.

The story of the bilby in the bath helps explain why minor injuries can become major problems, it powers up the use of the Protecometer, it challenges singular blame, it enhances emergent thinking and it encourages a wider search for contributions to pain states.

Your state of mind affects everything from how you perceive your day to day life to whether you react or respond to things that come your way. It’s the difference between whether you choose to push forward and get things done or whether you instead let your negative state of mind take over. The only way you can improve your state of mind is to alter it. To alter it by what you put into it. What you listen to. What you read. Who you spend time with. What you nourish your body with. What energy you are creating.

My top 3 ways of creating a better state of mind are:

1) Read, read, read - as much as you can. About the mind, thoughts, self development, consciousnesses. Inspirational stories, understanding why you do what you do, knowing your blue prints and whether your belief system is working for you.

2) Listen - morning and night. Fill the soul with positive words, affirmations, stories, speeches, sermons. Anything that is positive and good. One new thing I have been doing for a while is subconscious programming by listening to positive affirmations every single night - this has been a game changer.

3) Get moving - your body is as healthy as your mind. Staying still, stagnant, lethargic, low energy will only create negative space in your mind. Walking, running, dancing, exercising all contributes towards a healthy state. 💫💫💫
