Time. How clever humans are to quantify the flow of life that we experience. The time is constantly moving forward regardless of what we're doing. By being aware of the time we seek to maximize its content in relation to our own benefits. We know that our time is limited and we know that for every second we are getting closer to death. That's for sure, we just don't know how many seconds are left. It's interesting though that those people that have been close to death or are closer to death seems to reach the conclusion that to maximize your time is pointless. It's a race you can't win. Most of them just seems to do the opposite, let the time take care of itself, while they are enjoying every minute of it. Control and be aware of the time you have on planet earth so that time doesn't control you.

When it comes to treating pain or injury, strengthening exercises are just as crucial as the treatment itself. Both play an integral part in everyone's recovery from pain or injury.
Treatment helps diagnose and aids in recovery. It also helps identify the weaknesses which could have caused the pain or injury in the first place. Strengthening exercises, whether Pilates, Yoga or Strength training will help strengthen those weaknesses and reduce the chance of injury from reoccurring.
This beauty, is an excellent example of how treatment and Pilates work well together. Through treatment we identified the weakness and through Pilates we have strengthened it.

Each day I've been writing in my 5 minute journal expressing gratitude, paying attention to the amazing things that occur each day and reflecting on what 3 actions could have made my day even better than it was. This morning I'm in full appreciation of the world around me, my own natural skills and talents and all the people in my life who've supported me along the way and continue to do so :) When you're expressing gratitude and appreciation remember to include yourself. It's so important to appreciate and value yourself for who you are, how far you've come and who you're becoming as result of this 💖💖

Today I had an X-ray on my foot because I likely have a stress fracture - anyone had one before who can give me advice?? I really don't want to have to rest haha, I'm enjoying my exercise at the moment! I'm also going to go have a bone density scan, to see if that might be a reason I'm so prone to injuries - low bone density would do it! Fingers crossed that's not the problem and I'm really just a bit clumsy 🤞🏼 Anyway, for breakfast this morning I had vanilla chia porridge topped with berries, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, and almond chia butter 🤙🏼 Perfect way to fuel up for a day of appointments on a cold winter morning! 🍂

The Joint-Freeing Yoga series of movements, was developed by Mukunda Stiles, director of the Yoga Therapy Center in Boulder, Colorado. The series is designed to move each joint gently and systematically through its full and natural range of motion to enhance joint mobility and relieve joint pain and stiffness.
The benefits of the Joint-Freeing Series have been noticed with practitioners that dedicated some time to the practice daily. When practiced regularly, the practitioner will feel strengthening and relaxing of the joints and will notice that the rest of their movement practice (physical movement such as yoga, pilates, running, cycling, boxing etc) will feel more enlivened and subtle.
The Joint Freeing Series starts with the feet and ankles, moves up to the knees, hips, torso, and spine, and finishes with the neck. The motions described in this series represents all the basic motions of the body. The pace is practiced slow and steady.
The series is especially beneficial for those with limited mobility due to injuries or joint issues such as arthritis.

The Stolen Moment.
I'm taking a few minutes while one of the kids is in an appointment to do some work on my biz.
Let me be completely honest. At the moment I am putting in a limited amount of time with my biz BUT I continue to be blown away by the amount of money that lands in my account each month.
Why am I not putting in more time?...well, right now...LIFE. Family is always my number one priority, the kids are just ridiculously busy and many of you will be aware of the big move coming up for our family. I need to get my head around packing up and moving house!!! And my day job takes up quite a chunk of my week, I am lucky enough to really enjoy my work - it's professionally satisfying and I really do feel like I am making a valid contribution to a great team.
So, if you're like me and you have the usual ups and downs with your time availability then this business is perfect for you!

The clincher is that success come from consistency! Some weeks the time commitment is larger, some weeks smaller, but consistency is key.
