I grew up with the understanding that the more you do and the quicker you do it, the more productive you were. If you know me well enough, you probably know that I have a love for making to-do lists. I’m a go-go-go person and to me, there’s nothing quite the checking things off the to-do list. It’s ingrained in my mind, my being, and deep in my cells. However, I’d get so worn out & tired from the go-go-go that I got sick often. My nervous system was on overload and I had no idea.
This has changed for me lately, though. The last year of my life has been insanely busy: working three jobs (and trying to do them well), in addition to household stuff, spending time with friends, and trying to find my balance. There was more adding to the to-do list and less time checking things off. The to-do lists grew exponentially, as did my stress. I spent most of the little time I had off worrying about getting things done than I did enjoying the things I love. Until I took this photo.

Our bodies are intelligent designs and amazing communicators. Whatever is going on within our bodies and minds usually gives us external signals whether pain, fatigue, headaches, breakouts, hunger, thirst, sadness etc. Sometimes we need assistance in decoding messages (I.e a doctor, prayer with God) other times we are in tune & know the message that is being communicated. I just wanted to feel hot as hell... For me there is something so truly beautiful about the female form. The strength and power sexually driven desires have over society. And even our sexual orientation being of such a fluid nature. I had always been intrigued.
I was always overweight... I started developing my mental illness during highschool... And I was pregnant with my daughter at 18... I never necessarily ever got that feeling I dreamed of.
But now feel so elegant, confident and proud to be able to wear lingerie. At no stage did I not wear lingerie throughout my "body transformation". I always felt down right better in lingerie. Embracing such a feminine aspect of myself. But there is something so special about achieving something you never thought possible. I am beyond fortunate to have such an incredible husband...
