Finally got out on a camping trip with my family this weekend and had some time to do a little astrophotography! This is my first tracked and stacked up close shot of the Milky Way! Unfortunately my shutter remote had a loose wire because I couldn't get it to hold the shutter down, so I was stuck using the maximum 30 second in camera shutter on my tracker!😤 This is a stack of only 4 images shot at ISO6400, f/3.5, canon EF50mm f/1.4, Sony A7rii. Even just stacking 4 images greatly improved the signal to noise ratio after using such a high ISO! There is still tons of room for improvement such as doing much longer exposures(when I get a new shutter release remote!) and many more stacked frames, but happy with these first results. All processing done in Camera Raw and PS

How long was I gone?
It felt like you were there with me back there
In that place
It felt like a dream!
Where you can't remember any details
Everything is blurred out
But you can still feel the atmosphere of what it was like to be there
I have a feeling that after this... REALITY ISN'T GOING TO BE THE SAME ANYMORE
Roads and wires have always fascinated me. Think about it. When you are driving on a road, it is basically connected to every other road on the continent you are on. And you have the possibility when you are driving on a road to be able to drive on basically all of those connected roads just by making the right combination of left and right turns. In the same way, all electrical wiring telephones and Internet etc are all connected to one another with infinite possibilities. The amount of adventures to be had on the road are more than any lifetime could contain and are all unique. There are some roads that just inspire you or leave you awestruck, this was one of those roads, gorgeous beyond measure and so full of adventurous possibilities. I love it ❤️
