Beyond proud of this young lady! She is so strong. And I'm not talking physically, although she is 😬😨💁💪, I'm talking about her will! I remember the first time she walked in with her new born coming in shy, low energy. 18lbs later, I tell her "I feel everytime you come in here your smile gets bigger. You even enter the room with more authority and walk more confident and like "more sexier."" Lol She laughs at that last part. Keep it up Lucia!
After two months of solid practice I'm starting to see progress. 👍🏼🎉groundstrokes especially are really consistent. Trying to get the chest and hips more open at contact has made amazing improvement in my forehand. Still hitting a bit too flat but my accuracy is great. I got asked if there were any similarities in golf and tennis and originally I said no, but really there is. In golf @jgilmergolf has taught me to externally rotate my lead knee and get my chest and hips open to the target. If you watch the top tennis players, they do something similar and gain power. Taking what I learned in golf has made a big difference in my forehand especially. Still need to work on my toss but the serve is getting there. #tennis#practice#workinprogress#workout#toronto#tennisgirl#tennisfitness#keepatit#gettingbetter#stayfit#whatsyourexcuse
Something I learned this weekend, this amazing woman is blind and runs as fast as Usain Bolt! She was training for the Paralympics and couldn't find anyone as fast as her to train with. So they brought in Usain Bolt! If she can run, why can't you? #whatsyourexcuse
Meet my friend and team member @lyndellrashall. She's a mom, a grandma, a wife, a friend and a Mary Kay consultant. She's sweet, silly, and super positive. She's also visually impaired. The first time I watched her put on makeup, I cried. (In case you're wondering, she memorizes the position of her eye colors and counts the strokes. It's absolutely mesmerizing and inspiring to behold.) Most people would consider visual impairment to be an excuse, and a valid one at that, for NOT being able to pursue something like Mary Kay. But Lyndell is not "most people". She sets goals and smashes them. This coming week, Lyndell and her family are taking a vacation and she has been saving all her profit to help pay for it! I'm so, so proud of her and inspired by her. Thanks to all of her loyal friends and customers that have been supporting her business. Your purchases might not affect the bottom line of Ulta or Sephora, but they absolutely, positively make a HUGE impact to small, independent consultants like Lyndell. Lyndell, you're a #superstar !! #noexcuses#youcandoit#walkbyfaith#notbysight#whatsyourexcuse#whyimk#mymklife#teammk#allin#inspiration#morethanlipstick
