The picture above is one of my favorites because it best represents what I love about my job; style, mood, light, love, laughter and creativity. My vision as a flower stylist is to capture all of these aspects and translate them - along with my clients vision - into a cohesive finished design. That is so rewarding. Today I'm getting real with @shannaskidmore @ifimade and #thebusinessyouwant and I have to say that this shoot from last May hit all the notes - edgy, whimsical. I cannot tell a lie, I am dreaming of those warmer months where the flowers are blooming, and the sun is kissing my face. Especially those wedding days (like this 👆🏼) where everything is just so perfect. One of my resolutions for 2017 is to post more of our work. Life is so busy, and when it comes to my professional priorities- getting photos out the door to our amazing clients is at the top. But man, it's so easy to forget how incredibly fortunate and blessed we are by the people we meet, and the moments we capture, unless we go back and see what we've done.
This is the lovely and wonderful @brennabchase getting fastened up, just moments before seeing the love of her life, to exchange their vows. The emotion was so thick in the air, you could cut it. 💘 #jaquilynshumatephotography#chasethebream#whidbeyislandweddings (click over to the blog for the full post!)
2016. It was a great year. What a perfect reminder of all the amazing moments, memories, faces, and places I've been so blessed to experience. Everyone and more made 2016 a year to beat. Thank you to all my clients and couples who have put their faith in me to be part of their lives. Cheers to you and yours and all that 2017 has to offer!
