Ode to the koko. I can't wait to order some later this month! Speaking of this month what are your favorite wineries in Woodinville? We are taking my in-laws wine tasting and I'd love some places with a gorgeous tasting room and at least one for lunch. Koko Loco Rose from @gracerosefarm #woodinvillewinetasting#needrecommendations
i have three weddings left this season and a full editing list...farms, wineries, vintage homes, urban cityscapes. i have loved the variety of venues but one thread remains the same.... •
i have had a summer full of incredible couples! they have trusted me, given me time to be creative, welcomed me into the fold of their dearest loved ones for their most special day. thank you to all my clients this summer for being so generous. and all of the vendors i have worked with have also been so amazing and collaborative! i feel SO lucky. •
and to my friends and family, i cannot wait to have more face time with you. i miss and love my people. what an incredible summer.
Nate looking GQ on the morning of his wedding. Big thanks to @shanemacomber for having me along as a second shooter for Jess and Nate's day. I love working with photogs with experience and often times find something new to learn about how to approach covering a wedding when I'm able to work as a second.
One of my favorite images from Jess and Nate's wedding day. Had an awesome opportunity to second shoot under the wing of @shanemacomber on the beautiful grounds of The Wayfarer by @whidbeyislandweddings. I feel grateful to be allowed these moments with such wonderful people.
Do you ever feel like life is running you? That's how I've been feeling occasionally--lately. I've been looking for ways to take back control in the areas that matter, where I feel like "I don't have time" but are sooo important to long term success and a joy filled life. I have started with turning off my phone at 8:00pm every night and it's already been SO SO liberating and relaxing. 🙈 Since having two babes under three I had thrown in the towel on a good night's sleep for the next 4-5 years but I have been doing so many things to sabotage myself beyond 2am wake up calls from little ones. Taking my own Baby Steps (just like Leo's 😍) towards the things that matter and taking back control of the daily grind.
