Homemade 'lollies' aka gut lovin jellies. Just organic juice and gelatine. Super easy. Super yummy (but you can add a little maple syrup for extra sweetness). This is what I made Master 5 for his lolly bag for Kindy Camp. The kiddies love their lollies. #healthytreats#guthealth#paleolollies
Rolled myself up some super quick and easy sushi filled with avocado, cucumber, green onions and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Yum! My guy at the rest of the amazing curry I made a couple of nights ago over sushi rice 🍚 because, as crazy as it may sound, he doesn't like sushi. 🙄🌈❤️😋
Bavarian style cabbage onions sauerkraut potatoes and sausage inspired by my canning and time in Munich. Layers of garden onions , kennebeck potatoes, cabbage, sauerkraut, heirloom carrot, sausage and some smoked pork shoulder are placed in a dutch oven w bay leaf caraway butter apple cider vinegar and mustard just a touch of water and braised for 4 hrs at 260F. The sauce it makes will blow you away and the carrot tatses like meat. These kinds of salad plates are always a hit at our house! Today is rice crackers, pepitas, cucumber, carrot, cheese, celery, gherkin dip, red capsicum and olives.
Avocado Toast taken to the next level 🔝
My new favorite breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner item. 😶 Light, fresh, and quick. My favorite types of recipes!!! The regular avo toast brought to the next level due to fresh herbs. 🌱
2 pieces of bread, toasted
1/4 cup chopped flat parsley
1 Tbsp chopped dill
Dash of hot sauce (I love Frank's)
Few chopped tomatoes .
1. Toast bread. Smush with a fork, half of the avocado on each slice.
2. Add hot sauce to your liking. Top with herbs,tomatoes, salt and pepper.
3. Enjoy!! .
Delish brekky as usual at Walkerville's @coffee_institute. Fruit toast is my current obsession. As soon as I see it on the menu, I don't even bother continuing to read. (Is anyone else like this??) Paired with a strong soy flat white, what could be better! ☕️

🌱🍊Kumquats! Earth's naturally providing sour fruit lollies. Loaded with nutritional goodies such as: vitamin C, essential oils, vitamin B, calcium, potassium and fibre too! Picked up a whole bag at the Marrickville organic food markets this morning and will be snacking on them all day 🍊🌱

Not only was it easy but it was DELICIOUS! I really haven't felt much like cooking today for some reason. I barely got by at lunch and dinner was going the same way. I was actually going to have breakfast for dinner. I peeled the white sweet potato, diced into hash brown-size chunks, placed them in the pot with the intention of having half for breakfast tomorrow when another meal started coming to me. I think out of necessity for not having had any greens today. I seasoned the chicken with a homemade all purpose seasoning. My FAV go-to seasoning. I cooked the chicken in grass fed butter. It was very simple. When the potatoes were ready I lightly smashed them, added garlic powder and more seasoning. That's it. I couldn't believe how easy and tasty this simple meal was. Definitely a keeper!

I am doing a bit of work in the office this morning and Miss 6 comes out with a salad! I asked if daddy had made her that and she said 'nope, I did!' She picked some tomatoes from the garden, cut up her own cucumber, added spinach leaves and grated her own carrot. Her and I are both beyond proud so hence the pic....😊😍 Ps. This all happened because she saw tomatoes needing to be picked which then prompted this salad. If that's not an incentive to grow some of your own produce, I don't know what is!! 😂
Lemon and poppyseed loaf 🤣 I used to love orange and poppyseed cake but haven't had it for so long after cutting so many different things out of my diet! This one is made with lemons instead of oranges...so winning already and is gluten, dairy and grain free, made with coconut flour AND not dry!! Recipe coming to the blog this week xx
ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY 🌮!! Enjoying a night on the porch with the parents, listening to John Mayer and shovin' plants/seafood in our faces. It's both a lovely and barbaric scene, really. Halloumi is a cheese that all our english friends we met in Peru were raving about. It's hard to find here in the US but I finally got my hands on it ON SALE at @wholefoods !👌🏻 I'd call it the greek love child of parmesean & goat cheese.
• @skinnyfitalicious coconut shrimp stuffed into @sietefoods almond flour tortillas. With coconut cream, pickled radish, lettuce, green onion, cilantro.
• @naturalgirlmodernworld grilled haloumi and tomato with an herb-lemon vinegarette.
• sautéed zucchini, red onion, red pepper with @wholefoods smoky mexican chipotle seasoning
