La receta de los donuts de boniato 🍩🍠... y diréis pero si esto no tiene forma de donuts! Y es que tuve que hacerlo en un molde normal ya que no tenía ninguno con ese forma 😂 (hay que ingeniárselas con los medios de los que disponemos 😜) .

Sustituí la proteína por más harina de avena y de almendra...y aunque quedó muy esponjoso, creo que le faltaba un poco de dulzor (por la falta de la prote creo) pero muy rico aún así 😊

Living a healthy life doesn’t need to be complicated. Keep it simple & nourish your body with real & whole foods that will love your body back. A great place to start is to look in your pantry and fridge. Is it filled with foods that will inspire healthy choices & leave you feeling great?

TIPS from my Pantry Detox e-guide (on my website): 1️⃣Clean out items in your kitchen that aren’t supporting your health goals & foods that you know aren’t loving your body back (e.g. packaged & processed foods; sugar-filled foods) . You can give them away, to charity or work morning teas to avoid waste. 
2️⃣Fill your pantry with foods that make you feel good; foods that are filled with energy (real food!) & therefore will give you energy back. Every time you open your pantry & fridge doors you want to feel inspired to make a healthy choice that is going to nourish your body and leave you feeling great. 
3️⃣When it comes to filling your pantry 👉🏻Choose foods as close to their natural state as possible; avoid processed and packaged food as much you can; check for refined sugars and preservatives; if you can’t pronounce the ingredients it’s probably not real food (unless its quinoa) of if it has too many ingredients listed on the back that look like high school chemistry terms it is probably going to out live you. Just eat real and whole foods. 
4️⃣Organise your pantry and fridge so that it represents simplicity. An overcomplicated messy fridge/ pantry can add to overwhelm when cooking your meals.

When your back muscles are weak or you have poor posture, intrinsic rectangular muscles between your ribs and hips called the quadratus lumborums, or QLs, work overtime to stabilize your spine and pelvis, leaving them tight and sore. These deep muscles are also near critical organs like the kidneys and colon, which means that in addition to contributing to an achy back they can adversely affect your digestive health, and therefore energy and well-being, according to some alternative health practitioners.

Your QLs get tight and tender when they have to kick in and compensate for poor posture. And often soreness is one-sided, due, say, to carrying a small child on one side or side-sleeping with your top hip hiked up every night. When the onions become translucent and the water from the mushrooms evaporates, add the buckwheat groats and toast until fragrant. Add 1 cup of broth, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, salt and thyme and simmer on a low heat, stirring constantly until most of the liquid has been absorbed. Add another cup of broth, stirring constantly until the liquid has been absorbed. Repeat process until all 5 cups of broth has been absorbed. Remove from heat and stir in nutritional yeast. Garnish with lime zest, parsley or green onion (optional). Drizzle over remaining lime juice and truffle oil for an extra boost 💥

It’s the first day of school holidays. I’m relieved it’s the holidays. The morning routine was wearing us all down. I had a nice sleep-in followed by a leisurely later breakfast and then this leftovers lunch which happened to be a late lunch for me. Planning a Sunday night meal that leaves plenty of leftovers is a simple way to prep for a healthy week ahead!

I've been in #buddhabowl mode lately and that's what was on the menu again tonight! I love them because are simple, delicious, and an amazing way to pack in several servings of veggies at a time. 
The basic formula to make your own Buddha Bowl is: - Brown rice - A handful of greens and sprouts - Colourful veggies like grated carrots, shredded purple cabbage, chopped peppers and steamed broccoli - Sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds - Protein like chicken, tempeh, chickpeas or shrimp - A generous drizzle of a savoury homemade sauce!

La tarta de boniato de @edeand está causando furor, pero yo me decidí a probar otra de sus recetas que me conquistó desde el primer momento que la vi 😍

La receta de los donuts de boniato 🍩🍠... y diréis pero si esto no tiene forma de donuts! Y es que tuve que hacerlo en un molde normal ya que no tenía ninguno con ese forma 😂 (hay que ingeniárselas con los medios de los que disponemos 😜) .

Sustituí la proteína por más harina de avena y de almendra...y aunque quedó muy esponjoso, creo que le faltaba un poco de dulzor (por la falta de la prote creo) pero muy rico aún así 😊

This year has been pretty full on, with some big life-changing events for our little family... moving to a new country, starting a business around family life & being blessed with a tiny human coming soon. 
This surely will make anybody feel completely drained by this time of the year. Even though  it’s not all been smooth sailing, the one thing that was always constant was my health. My energy levels were amazing and I’m able to just keep going. Apart from a tummy bug and a slight cold I have sailed through this pregnancy 🙌🏻 with off the charts iron levels
Im putting a lot of it down to this amazing nutritional support and making sure we have a healthy balanced active lifestyle.

Why wouldn’t you add 27 farm fresh fruits & veggies to your daily routine? 
I use to think I was able to eat enough fruits and veggies everyday, But to be honest I was only getting 3-4 servings a day. Canada's Food Guide recommends 7 to 10 servings of vegetables and fruit a day!😳 That is why I decided to add Juice Plus to my diet. It helps bridge the gap between what I am eating and what I should be eating!

Yesterday involved lots of baking for some upcoming holiday parties! These Sesame Matcha Cookies from Liz Moody @sproutedroutes taste even better than they sound! They are also super low in added sugar (I tripled the recipe and only used 1/2 cup pure maple syrup). Id highly recommend topping with orange zest for an out of this world flavor combination! #matcha #paleocookies #sproutedroutes
