I also make this in a key lime 🍋version. 👏👏#recipetocomesoon#plantstrong _______________________________________________________ RAW DECADENT CHOCOLATE DESSERT 🍰 1 c almond and/or pecan meal (just pulse whole nuts in blender until flour-like)
6 medjool dates, chopped
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 tsp pure vanilla
For the crust: Pulse all ingredients in high-powered blender until it begins to stick together. Press into 9" pie pan.
2 cups cashew pieces, soaked in water 15 mins
1/2 c water
1/2-2/3 c (taste to desired sweetness) 100% pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp sea salt
2/3 c (scant) raw cocoa powder
1/3 c canned coconut milk
2 tsp pure vanilla
For the filling: Drain cashew pieces and place in high-powered blender with water, syrup and salt. Mix until creamy and smooth. Add powder, milk and vanilla and blend until thoroughly incorporated, scraping sides of blender with spatula as needed. Pour into 9" crust. Garnish with roasted nuts. Cover and set in freezer a few hours. Remove from freezer and slice. Store covered in fridge/freezer. Serve with fresh or frozen berries. 🍓Yummy!!
Oil Free Granola is super easy to make and delicious.
1. Mix together dry ingredients: here I have Oats, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and flax
2. Mix together wet and spices and allow to come to a boil: Maple Syrup, Almond Butter, Coconut Sugar, Water, Cinnamon and Ginger
3. Remove from heat and add Vanilla and Baking Soda whisking until frothy
4. Pour wet over dry and mix well
5. Spread on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Allow to cool on pan and break into chunks
I just did my first Insta story! 🙌🏻 Forgive the choppiness. Rookie over here but I share how I made the dressing for this salad. It's a pumpkin seed garlic ginger dressing, and I'll put the link where I got the full recipe in my bio. I haven't made it in forever and the last time I did I poured it over a bowl of roasted veggies, lentils and rice. This time I tried it on a salad with bell pepper, sliced pear and more raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas). Random I know but it was pretty tasty! I think I like it best with the Buddha bowl though. I had the salad for lunch along with some leftover lentil curry I made this week. Try it out and tell me what you think! P.S. The recipe calls for oil but I omitted and added some extra water. I adjusted seasonings too based on my preference. It also calls for cayenne and I skipped that to but go for it if you like some extra spice! 🌶 It makes a ton so I'll be using it throughout the week!

Før løbeturen spiste jeg lækker frokost fra @californiakitchendk med min dejlige kusine ☀️ Jeg har vist før gjort udtryk for, at jeg er ret begejstret for det sted - det ligger centralt på Nørrebrogade tæt ved søerne, og så har de langt de fleste af mine favoritingredienser tilgængelige; avocado (og guac), søde kartofler, quinoa, krydret tofu, lækre veganske dressings osv. Start your mornings off with a cup of immune boosting GOLDEN MILK 💛 Your body will thank you! ☕️👌
2 cups of Almond Milk or your milk of choice
1 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Raw honey or maple syrup
A small piece of fresh peeled ginger root or 1/4 tsp ginger powder
A pinch of black pepper
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth, then pour into a small sauce pan and heat for 3-5 minutes over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Drink and enjoy! ✌️ #wellnesswednesdays

Sometimes the best breakfasts aren't the prettiest. My new favorite is barley with apples, raisins and hemp milk. It's a powerhouse of fiber, protein and good fat. Oh yeah, and it tastes so good!!
