Ginger Root for dinner: dinner was pretty good. The Udon Noodle Soup was tasty and filling. The Pad Thai was good but a tad dry. And the dessert was rich and delicious. We had the crispy fudge brownie. Was more chewy than crispy. And though it was small it could be shared by two because it is thick and rich. The staff was so very friendly which is always a plus. Turning the world vegan without them even realising. So at my arts and crafts market yesterday I was offering these vegan pasties.
The omnis were looking for beef Cornish pasties but after trying a sample of my "not beef" pasties they were more than happy to buy them! I sold out in record time.
A coffee addict gives up coffee!? YES.
I have been off of coffee for the past few months now, and after a couple weeks of grueling withdrawal symptoms; headaches, nausea, and other stomach issues I can happily say that it has actually paid off!! I wake up every day no longer relying on coffee to get me going, my afternoon energy crash is no longer as intense and I'm no longer experiencing daily shortness of breath.

Since giving up coffee I've been starting most days with matcha green tea! Although green tea does have caffeine the way it's released in your body is much less intense on your system and is released at a slower pace. It's been a game changer friends!
Best way to approach health & fitness in general: You are a part of nature, so act like it. 🦍🌱 Live life the way nature intended and you'll be rewarded with youth, health and a high fitness. But break the rules of mother nature and... well, you know. 🙈
How can you apply this to your health program? 🍎 Nutrition = Eat a mixture of diets from our nearest biological relatives (🦍), from our ancestors and from the longest living and most healthy people in the world. (aka organic? seasonal, local whole food plant based diet with the right omega-3 to omega-6 ratio and because of today's life a supplementation of vitamin b12 & d & k) Easy. 🏃 Movement = Move in a natural way (e.g. walking, running, climbing, gardening etc.) and combine it with movements to balance our stressed modern life muscles 😴 Sleep = Perfect would be to go to bed an hour after sunset and wake up with sunrise but I know this ain't possible for most of us. So just try to go to bed as early as possible and sleep at least 8 hours a day.
Now there is more to health than just diet, workout & rest but to keep this post short: use common sense. Most of the time your inner self knows what to do. JUST DO IT!

Went to lunch at Yak and Yeti for the first time with a dear friend. We got the Sweet Potato Masala and Baigan Bharta prepared with coconut milk. They were both delicious, and the restaurant was very vegan and gluten free friendly. I will definitely be back! 🍠 🍆 🌶
