Don't mind the haters! Every small progress is progress and you should be ridiculously proud of yourself! In years I wasn't able to really work out (fybro, endo and ibd) and now it has been the best medicine! Be proud of small steps, love your muscles, your body and please never give up! 🙄❤❤❤ ps: those bruises heal, you learn to love the after pain and it's so freaking awesome when you notice your muscles DO HAVE memory 😎
🍄Champignons🍄 (also called Paris mushrooms in some places) are not supposed to be smashed together or even with the top in constant contact with something pushing down like they come from most stores, or they will get dark and start to smell weird plus the taste goes away and you end up with dark and rotten mushrooms.
🍄Salmon mushrooms🍄the vibrant pink color is a good sign of freshness! Plus they should be firm and not have grey tips, that's a sign they won't last longer than 2 days before the color starts disappearing and the flavor changes from fresh and delicious to a very heavy flavor, some people like it, I just think it doesn't even compare to the fresh and peculiar flavor they actually have! Put them into a container where the roots stay in the middle and the tips turned to the walls and not touching the walls if that's possible.
🍄Shimeji🍄 are really really delicate, if you want them to last a few days make sure that it doesn't have any smashed places and that it looks and feels firm at the tips. The same rules from the Salmon mushrooms apply for storing Shimeji, but if you want them to last a really long time in your fridge you can easily freeze them, just make sure you take them apart first.
🍄Shitakes🍄 are the ones you need a bigger container for, they like to have space and breath while stored, you will see the breathing when they actually make small water drops around them. Since I'm using them tomorrow I used a vertical container but you can use a horizontal one so they don't touch each other. Buying them is easy, as long as they have a bright and light brown color and the stumps are thick and white they are fresh, if the stups look thin and muggy don't buy them!
And that's it for today on mushrooms one on one tips for making them last longer in your fridge 😉
