'If you're having a bad day, imagine you're in a comedy, not a tragedy." Its all about perspective.
You're in control of the type of day you experience.
AND the kind of life you live,by the way you choose to react to the things that happen.
We all experience tragedy in life but we also have the capability to choose how we react to those hard times.
My reaction this year was to choose travel and fill my life with my passions.
What are you going to choose?
If you're ready to choose being happy and to take control back over your future, hit the 🔗 in my bio @wanderful_women & learn more about living your happiest life 😀💜😀💜😀💜
Almost 32 Weeks Pregnant and I still like to move it, move it.
I might be gaining baby weight 🤰🏼 as the last few weeks go by, but I’m also gaining strength and working on my endurance by sticking to my 30 minute prenatal workouts 💪🏻 It is definitely gonna come in handy during labor and also make it a little easier for me to get back into a routine once I’m cleared to workout again after Baby Villa is born! 💙
If you’re looking for prenatal/postnatal fitness routines, including strength training and yoga, that you can take with you anywhere... hit me up! I got the hook up 🙋🏼
Dear Blueprint Babes,
Last year at this time, I had no idea what Blueprint Botanicals was or really who I was, in many ways. I remember bursting with inspiration and ideas and wishing I could have had them sooner so I could have been prepared for the holidays and given the gift of self care to so many more women. I said to myself that this year I would be ready on Small Biz Sat with beautiful gift sets that come in beautiful packaging with beautiful cards (see my story for version 1 of these boxes from last year 🙈). I didn’t have a website or any customers, but I focused on the feeling of MAGIC that self care provides and I visualized women who really needed to be pampered, feeling like queens when they opened a black box. I didn’t know yet what this brand would be but I knew that I believed in my products and my mission of pampering badass women. This year has been a fucking journey and I am so proud and simultaneously overwhelmed with gratitude about how far this has come.
I can’t believe I get to pamper so many of you. It’s literally my dream come true when you order a box. Every. Single. Time. I can’t thank you enough for all your support, but I’m gonna try by offering the biggest sale I’ve ever offered this weekend, as a token of my immense gratitude for each of you. Bc you are worthy. AF. Of literally, everything. I love you all so much - this year, this sale is going to be my love letter to you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🖤👯♀️

I have always believed in Woman and that we are much more powerful than men. I don’t mean to offend anyone. A Woman carries so much emotions in herself, and silently smiles to the World to show she is Strong. A Woman is dangerous as there is nothing in this World a woman should be afraid of or can not do!!! Read one of my previous blogs on Woman ~Link in Bio #Whoruntheworld#Woman#thoughtoftheday#strong

It's #MotivationMonday - we're feeling pretty motivated by Chloe Taylor, one of our Girls Who Code Facilitators! Chloe runs a middle school Girls Who Code Club at Packer Collegiate Institute in downtown Brooklyn, but her involvement with Girls Who Code extends beyond that — she also serves on Girls Who Code’s volunteer curriculum board, and she helped pilot the Girls Who Code Campus program. In her two years working with the organization, she says it’s not only allowed her to bond with the girls in her Club, but also given her confidence in herself as well as helped her in her career. Her experience with Girls Who Code “opened her mind up to new possibilities,” and she recently started a new job in education at a makerspace company. #OTD in 1910 Dr. Anna Pauli Murray was born🌟She was one of the first lawyers to argue that the Equal Protection Clause approach to racial discrimination should apply to gender-based discrimination. In 1926, Murray moved to New York City and attended Hunter College. When Wall Street crashed Murray was no longer able to find a job to support her education. She dropped out and worked as a teacher for the NYC Remedial Reading Project. During this time, Murray became involved in the Civil Rights Movement. She campaigned to attend the all-white University of North Carolina and to end segregation on public buses. In 1940, 15 years before Rosa Parks, Murray refused to move to the back of a bus and was arrested. In 1941, Murray enrolled at Howard University and attended the law school, where she felt she was frequently discriminated against because of her gender. President John F. Kennedy appointed Murray to the Commission on the Status of Women in the 1960s. In 1966, Murray co-founded the National Organization for Women (NOW). Then in 1977 she became the first African American woman to be ordained a priest in the Protestant Episcopal Church.🙌🏼repost via @womenshistory #DrAnnaPauliMurray#equality#PauliMurray#civilrights#womensrights#LGBTQ#Sheisthefirst
We want to do something special in the new year for our Female Bosses!
And we don't just mean women who run their own businesses but women who are running it in their careers or industry!! Shout em out below! We have listed a few that we admire below!
Check them out!
Not a daisy goes by that we don't love the @thedivacup !
The average woman disposed of 9,600 feminine hygiene products over her lifetime. Multiply that by the 3.5 billion women on the planet and that is a considerable amount of waste!
Have you ever looked at a tampon box? The ingredients aren't listed! That's because there are tons of harmful chemicals in these products that leach into your body, yuck!
Switch to menstral cups! You will save money, reduce waste and protect your body from chemical soaked tampons and pads! 🌼🌸
