A true icon of the African bush.
These remarkable giants play a huge role in keeping a balance in the ecosystem. Unfortunately, elephants are also being poached at an alarming rate with tens of thousands being killed each year. All to support the illegal ivory trade. The ever growing human population also plays a huge role in the decline of this species as we are taking up their precious land to create farms etc.
I wonder when people will learn that this fragile planet belongs to all species, from the smallest microbes to the largest mammals and trees. Once the last tree is chopped and the last animal is killed, what then?
Bush Doof (n): a techno festival in the middle of the Australian outback. // Includes: a view of the Milky Way Galaxy from the night sky, floating on the river with a unicorn named Charlie, thousands of magical colors and lights, and some of the best people you’ll ever meet.
-LEGAL WOLF KILL-
This isn't a dog... well maybe 20% or so. The neighbor breeds pure wolves to dogs and sells the hybrid pups, she breeds them out of control. By the looks of it this one is largely gray wolf.
She had over 100 wolf-dogs when the local law ordered her to start getting rid of them do to escaped wolves attacking livestock. So she got rid of them, by letting them run loose. These animals aren't being fed anymore so they hunt what they can, livestock, pets, maybe even kids. The sheriff told us to shoot on sight and we do. -this one was an alpha she-wolf.
Mother vervet monkey and her offspring.
Vervet mothers form an incredible bond with their offspring. Offering protection and guidance to ensure they have a good chance of survival out in the wild.
