As a general rule I find I prefer the Luminance bright blender for feathers, while I stick to the Derwent blender for fur. The Luminance blender seems to give a sleeker texture somehow, which works well for conveying healthy, shiny feathers.
My two rutting deer are complete!!!! The next instalment in my metallics collection... really enjoyed playing around with the metallic grass... would like to say the splatters were deliberate but I made a boo boo so had to run with it but I actually quite like i!
